I really hope the Dodgers have this same mindset when they play us in the playoffs

The Braves are just a well run organization to me. Draft good arms and a couple good bats. But imo, they don't have "it". What they do evens out over 162 games because thats how things usually work in baseball. But i don't trust them to get it done when it matters most.

When I think of Braves...I think of excuses and ifs.

just my opinion on the guys. I don't think they beat any of the teams from the NL Central for the Dodgers to have a "mindset" against the Braves...but whatever.

this is why they play the game.
we'll see you on the field...hopefully.

Andrelton Simmons of all people makes the error to lose the first game of 2 double headers against the Nats. If anyone could afford to make a mistake there it's Andrelton, he's been the best defensive player in Baseball and mistakes happen, just gotta shake it off and rebound next game.

has anyone watched the Dodgers struggle over the last 15 games? I can say it's due to injury.

Hanley and Kemp enter the lineup yesterday...and it seemed like we got right back to where we always were and we blew the dbacks out their socks yesterday.
We've given Kershaw an extra 3 days rest because he's leading the majors in IP (i hear, i didn't check) and because he wasn't sharp in his last 3 starts.

Yeah you know someone up above is on your side when you win a game via Andrelton Simmons commiting an error, on top of that against Craig Kimbrel who's as automatic as they come.

Sucks the Reds are getting gifted wins against the Astros, since they had just lost 2/3 to the Brewers and looked like they were teetering. Really need the Bucs to beat them at least 5 out of 6.

Kimbrel was so close to 50 saves and a sub-1 ERA. :(

Well with our loss last night and the Reds winning in extras, we pretty much have to win out and hope the Reds go like .500 the rest of the way to have a chance.

on 2nd thought.

i hope the reds take 2 out of 3 and the Nats gain no real ground this weekend.
nothing would be worse for the National League than a hot team like the stats steam rolling their way into the playoffs ready to troll the world.

Don Mattingly is an idiot and pisses me the hell off
:banghead:

this idiot rests THE ENTIRE team yesterday in a series opener at San Diego. THE ENTIRE TEAM! you could have played Puig and Gonzalez. Kemp and Puig....nope, not Donnie Baseball. Leave it to this d-bag to say he's worried about health more than home field advantage.

consequently he's setting us up for a Game 1 and 2 in St. Louis....really?...after setting one of the all time 50 game stretches in MLB History...ur really content having the worst record of any division winner? having the same record as a wild card team?....REALLY CONTENT giving home field to one of the MLB's premier franchises that feeds off anything to get hot?

now my only freakin hope is that St. Louis decides to catch Atlanta...and we can start the division there.
