I would do Cano for Bautista. We can always plug sierra at RF. Ichiro is aging and bautista would be an upgrade for the yanks, Cano helps on infield and keeps the dominican vibe alive on our team

You must be dreaming if you think the Yanks would trade Cano for Bautista unless they want to replace an aging Ichiro with a fragile Jose.

2nd base must be cursed in Toronto.

Robbie Alomar would like a word with you.

or the connection between who chooses players/coaches/scouts

fire Alex

if Rogers starts pinching pennies again (Cano), might as well write off 2015 - forget about 2014, too much to do there

Exactly. Robbie spits at curses.

...still, the fact that bonifacio's been a plus defender in KC is rather insane.

It would make up for missing out on Fielder and Darvish two offseasons ago.

From the last few years, here is a list of international players/prospects that interested me, some of which the Jays pursued but did not obtain. Who else am I missing?
I'm guessing we are not getting Tanaka either.

Former Available International Prospects:
- Yu Darvish
- Hyun-jin Ryu
- Aroldis Chapman
- Yoenis Cespedes
- Jorge Soler
- Jurickson profar
- Masahiro Tanaka

Obatined
- Adeiny Hechevarria (Not on the level of the above, but was one of the prospects other teams were interested in)

Well I could make a list of people in the draft that interested me over the last few years and made an equally impressive list. You are forgetting the Joe Blows that pan out to nothing for tens of millions of dollars (Dice K for example)
