He was utterly destroyed by Krstic. One can argue that Ajinca also schooled him on two possessions. He had his good moments but mostly against mediocre teams. Really inconclusive.

JV isn't starting today. Hopefully gets in the game soon though. Cusins is a decent C.

For a 21 year old JV has been ok. His rebounding has been solid.

I'm pretty excited to watch Datome on the Pistons this season.
It seems like good teams always have 1 or 2 Int'l players in their rotation that bring it all together, like Prigioni, Manu, Garbo, Delfino etc.

Italy may play PFs at C quite a bit so may reduce the opportunities for JV to be out there. Wish LTU's coach was more proactive rather than reactive.

22-15 LTU. LTU playing great defense but Italy has made some tough shots. Lead could be bigger.

JV got caught for a moving screen. 100% guilty. He also missed a tough layup but Kleiza cleaned it up.

Intensity is up a notch now. Will be interesting how JV does.

I think the answer for any question the team has is to sub Jonas out. But particularly for that issue, sub him out.
