Oct 1st. (officially)

Time Limit per Pick
10 hours (although if someone is late checking in we'll be lenient) for Round 1, once the draft gets rolling the leniency will be less.
REMINDER: if you know you'll be unavailable due to sleep, work, etc, and your pick is coming up you are encouraged to give someone a list of your choices in order (you can always PM them to a Mod, or I know some people can text each other etc), so they can announce your pick and keep the draft going.

Trade Announcements

Trade Rules
-trades may be made anytime, starting even before the draft begins
-once a pick is on the clock it can no longer be traded
-once a pick is already made, that player can be traded in any trade package
-each side needs to send the same number of picks (1 for 1, 2 for 2, etc)
-if your 12 hours for your pick run out, no player will be automatically selected for your team. You will need to make your pick as soon as you get back to the board.

Hey Kerrsed, the draft doesn't officially start until the 1st of October. That was pretty much discussed before. So in saying this, if someone doesn't want to they shouldn't be forced to.

Just sayin. There is no super rush. If we drafted now we would probably have the draft done before training camp opens.

Yeah, we can unofficialy start for sure. But training camps and what not are important, injuries, who will start etc.

Im cool with "UN-officaially" starting whenever. Starting sooner means that you are able to nab sleepers better (before they start to shine in training camps). i think the first 3 rounds or so are safe with players (you know who they are and that they are starting), but around 5-6 is where they have guys that could see a huge increase in their stock. If you are drafting a guy in the 1st 3 rounds and you dont know if they are starting or not, well then i pity your soul.

But we are still waiting for Sun Scorched to PM me his email address and Colbyfletch to accept his invite. But then again, they are drafting towards the end of the 1st round, so Kop, whenever you feel comfortable you can make your 1st pick.

Gutsy move. I would have taken this other guy over Harden, as im afraid of how much of an impact Dwight will have in Houston.

I had to run through the reasoning about 1000 times to convince myself to take Harden over "that other guy," but at the end of the day I believe I made the right call.

Kobe's stats didnt take a hit with both Dwight and Pau in Laker-land, so there's no reason to think that Harden's stats would be any much different either. I actually think he could be even more efficient this season, with the defences focusing less on him, now that he has a legit number 2 option in D12.

I also read an article where it said that Harden and Howard would be running the pick and roll often, so I expect a bit of an improvement in assists as well.

Trust me. It wasnt as easy choice at all. Although the fact that Harden is a SG also contributed to me picking him here, as there are alot more quality PG's than SG's
