I am not checking the new CBA - but I think you still have to be under the Cap (60M) with enough space to absorb the salary - or have a trade exception in order to take a player without trading someone out (unless it is a vet minimum in FA? - I know there is an exceptioin for that in filling out your roster) I am also concerned about the declaring that you are "waiving" players prior to the deal - Not sure what that means to your cap situation etc... But no one is checking to it's fine. Just should not be the precedent without some CBA support.

Trade 73

Net's send Otto Porter (4.287.000) and Jason Thompson (5,643,750) - $9.9M; to
Kings for Evan Turner (6,679,867) and Kendall Marshall (2,005,560) - $8,685,572)

Salaries work within the CBA

The Nets move a rookie - 3rd pick from the 2013 draft for the 2nd overall pick from 2010. While Evan Turner has been a disappointment to many - his game has improved each year and he is putting up 14ppg. with 4 reb and 5 assist which is the production Brooklyn needs behind Paul Pierce in trying to go deep in the playoffs. In addition, we balanced our roster with a touted PG Prospect in Kendall Marshall who could not have a better coach than Jason Kidd to realize his potential. Finally, we get a possible lottery pick in the 2014 draft.

Nice working with you again Ghostx.

Accepted. Why? If there was any question LeBron would leave via FA, there is none now. Pair the best player on the planet with the best big on the planet. Throw Zbo in there, and I have some other peices to improve my guards. Great dealing Verze.

In my situation, it was a minimum contract (Malcolm Lee). The waivers are fine. They still count against my cap till someone picks them up.

Knicks accept. Save some money and get some cash and a future 2nd and a tpe. Better than letting Pondexter walk in FA

Shed my last questionable contract plus PJ Tucker is a good role player.

# 77.

Okc thunder and Indiana pacers agree to a big one.

Thunder in / Indiana out:

Zach Randolph - 18,238,333
Jeremy Lin - 8,374,646
Marcin Gortat - 7,727,280
2014 NYK second
3,000,000 (not included in total)

Total: 34,340,259 x 1.25 = 42,925,320 > incoming
Plus within the 5,000,000 rule

Okc out / Indiana in:

Tony Parker - 12,500,000
Serge Ibaka - 12,350,000
Nene - 13,000,000
Total: 37,850,000

Salaries work.

Why?
We upgrade from Lin to TP, down grade from Zbo to Ibaka, and swallow NeNe's nasty deal for Gortat. We do this because we are big TP fans. Serge better learn to shoot quick. Good dealing Darrion!

Don't even.

In a game when Klay gets traded for Bargs, Lebron for Kyrie and so on, this deal is perfectly fine. Realgm has the fetish of overrating and underating players. Nene sucks. Ibaka is largely overrated. Lin is very underrated. Check his stats. And Parker is old. Zbo is an Allstar.

Do not even.

Stop.

We're done with the days of vetoes - days when, as I recall, Ness was often the leader of the charge in protesting one-sided deals.

But: OKC owner, you can do much, much better than this for those players. Take a pause, do some more shopping, and if it turns out that I'm wrong you can always go ahead with this deal.

I'm seriously in shock this deal is even being questioned.

There's no superstars being traded for peices
There's no young stud being trade for and old peice of crap

It three solid guys for two solid guys and a bad contract.

This is the reason I should have stayed retired. People crying over nothing.

Is KD being traded Favors and Leonord? Is Wade being trade for Sanders? These are the kinda of deals I have vetoed.

This is getting rediculous. The deals done. I have the emails to prove it. Once he accepts, this is a no issue and I'm 100% sure Karm will back me up.

Don't even worry about these guys. Glad you came out of retirement because you're actually a good trader. Like the phrase a lot of Heat fans use today "Haters gonna hate." Still a good trade.
