This reminds me of last year when we were atop the league early and surprised everyone. Just like us, I expect Liverpool to fall back to reality even after Suarez comes back.

The dirty secret is we don't play well when Suarez is in. We rely on him too much and it kind of stagnates everyone because they're busy watching him.

Despite 10/12 still think we're a 6th placed team this year. Next year though?

Terrible second half by Liverpool, but hard to complain from the top of the table.

Carra is great. Also love how he slated Jose Enrique. Basically calling him a (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

He's Been hit since last season , Chelsea dropped the ball in selling him. Probably would be starting for you guys now

Not really, he had a bright start with us when we had AVB but also tailed off and showed that he wasn't willing to work for the team, from the looks of it he's really matured. We'll just have to see what happens when Suarez gets back, I certainly hope he can carry on playing up front, would probably give Liverpool a better incentive to sell Suarez and use the funds to invest heavily in January

Also, Carragher is great

I also think he wouldn't have developed like he has if he stayed with us unfortunately. The problem with him was all mental: decision making, work rate and aggressiveness (I've never see a player so scared of tackles). Still happy for him because change of scenery obviously did him good and he'd always seemed like a good pro.

Sturridge will play through the middle when Suarez gets back. Luis's best position might be at RF but with Coutinho out for at least 6 weeks you could see him playing in the hole behind Studge.

Sometimes a player just needs a pat on the back. Think Rodgers has been a good influence on him. They seem to love each other. He was benched a few matches last year for not working hard without the ball but since then he's been terrific. Kudos to him.

I find Carragher..slightly (Please Use More Appropriate Word) with his analysis.
I really really like Neville..(and this is coming from someone who hated him as a player)

This might be jumping the gun a bit, but I was just thinking how cool it would be if Arsenal and Spurs were both competing for the league title this season. Would take the rivalry and banter to a whole new level, I'd love that.

It's just a banter. They work together now on MNF (Sky Sports) and this is just about the only thing Carragher's good for.

It would intensify yes, but it depends on how you define next level, the North London derby is probably the most well known rivalry and most intense derby of the last decade. I would love a European clash between Arsenal and Spurs, heck even something like a cup final. That would definitely push it

Toure, Skrtel, Agger & Sahko start for Liverpool. I have an awful feeling about this. Lol.

Yeah, but it's four CBs versus three strikers and zero width. Rodriguez and Moses comprise the sole hopes of their respective teams for anything outside the middle...otherwise, it could be 20 players trying to make short passes in a phone booth.

Sahko & Toure did a lot better giving width as they grew into the game. Still Liverpool look so disjointed without Suarez. No creativity at all. Gerrard and Aspas have been awful lol.

Ref denying us everything too. Ugh.
