Its true that NBA and European basketball have their differences and NBA game suits Valanciunas better, but i kinda expected more from player which is getting FIBA reward for best young player 2 years in a row.He played same minutes as Vucevic, they both were in dog house just Valanciunas had better players around him than Vucevic which played best he could in limited role he received from our coach(still unclear why he didnt played more),

Sabonis won Eurobasket mvp when he was 20 years old. Give Valanciunas some chance, maybe he will score 50 against France or Spain and will get championship MVP :D

France cannot beat Spain on Parker alone.

France is Parker. Simple as that. Awful shooting display so far by anyone but him.

Yeah, but it should'nt be... that has been the problem with his whole int career, he's the only one to show up always...

France 20 points at half, parker 14 7/9 rest of team 6 3/20... and is not like they dont have talent there.

It's a mystery why other good french players always underperform with France, Parker is the only one who stays at his level. Spain looking good, great defense so far, Parker is just unstoppable we just have to try to deny him the ball after the entry pass.

No it wasn't that was not a flagrant 1 even by NBA standards.

Well, this is FIBA rules, if you don't try to play the ball, it's an unsportsmanlike foul. That was 2 two free throws and possession, very clear.

34-23 in the 3rd... what a grind.

What probability does Lithuania have against Spain? 15%?

Lol at Calderon looking so much more athletic in Fiba than in the NBA

And Rubio is an actress :-? He already deserves 3 flop warnings this game.

Rarely, Parker flopped quite nicely on that Gasol "foul". Tough quarter for Spain, France draining threes like there is no tomorrow, but luckily we held a lead.

I love how Parker didn't even notice when he and Gasol collided with their heads and Marc grabbed his face like it fell off.

Wow Parker's teammates stepped up in the 2nd half. France only down 1 pt in the 4th.

If there is one thing to hate about Spain it is their flopping. They exeggerate the most miniscule contact. They are the most talented team in this tournament but they keep resorting to cheap tactics smh

They're lucky the refs are easy on them, they should have at least 4 technical fouls called on them because of flopping.

More than 15%. I would say around 30%. Lithuania would win 1 out of 3 or 4 games.
Reasons are:
1) Spain hasn't been dominant this tournament yet. Losses to Greece and Italy, and Slovenia. They are really missing Pau.
2) Lithuania form is clearly on the rise (it was planned to reach max on quarterfinals).
3) Lithuania will be more hungry for gold. Spain has 2 golden medals in their collection already. And out of 12 Lithuanians just 1 has gold from 2003 (and he was benched for last 4 or 5 games completely)
