Lithuania is good at defending perimeter scorers and has proven that number of times now. If they cover Parker at least adequately, that team can fall apart. Meanwhile, it would take way more than one player for Lithuania to fall apart.
It is a close call.

Lol, after reading you I thought Lithuania had a horrible game against Italy...
And the coach sucked big time...
You need to make your mind up.
What matters here is that Val is experiencing what a well coach team should be like. And what the 4th quarter should look like. And of course, what it means to play against teams that cannot inbound. He needs to remember all that after he becomes an unrestricted agent.

Parker also played 37 minutes today. And 35 against Slovenia. Will 1 day's rest be sufficient?

Not sure if fatigue will overcome adrenaline in the championship game...

Alright, yes, that game was not great, but they did showed class as a unit with that forth quarter finish. Thats what I mean I guess. Winning spirit blocked some negative thoughts I guess.
I hated the way they played the first half in particular, the second half against Italy was fine. They actually started the third quarter the way I wanted, with 2 bigs. Donut punishing DaTome was the key at the end of the game.

Don't care what people say, but this experience for JV is great. No joke, the winning culture could carry in his persona. Lithuanians breathe bball, and JV is an emotional and patriotic guy. He will be pumped if Lithuania clinches the trophy.

Here is what makes it worth for Val:
http://tv.delfi.lt/video/9jZuRCP5/
The coach teaching how to play smart basketball. He says it - play smart. Think what they want you to do, and do what you need to do instead. Sorry for those who don't understand Lithuanian, but you will see that Val's body language says playing smart is over my head at this point. And that's a major concern.

We really could have used this Kleiza that last few years. He's not a great player (in the NBA) but he's better than the likes of Rasual Butler, Dominic Mcguire, Pietrus, and others that were trying to fill the next to Demar before Rudy arrived.

That Kleiza dunk! Glad to see him without that bionic knee brace! glad to see him look healthy!
It does take a couple of years to recover from knee microfracture surgery!
Enjoy Fenerbahçe Linas! and "Allez Tony!"

I can't believe it. Spain was up 14 at the half and then just played poorly in the 4th and OT. And they were flopping like crazy... looked like they had the ghosts of Chris Paul, Reggie Miller, Manu Ginoblli, Luis Scola and Anderson Varajeo on the floor at once

LTU beat France but le bleu looks a lot better now. Ajinca had like 2 pts but will be tough for JV/Javtokas on Sunday. And France won with Batum struggling today. LTU will really need to play perfectly. Usually teams get their revenge in these type of tournaments.

One advantage for LTU will be their rested players. Parker looked exhausted in OT. Then again in a championship game the adrenaline should overcome any fatigue.

You should never want an adrenaline rush at the start of a game. There are 40 minutes of game time. If you blow your load early, you're cooked. The best way to overcome fatigue is to play on an even keel. Don't get too high or too low. Use adrenaline for a finishing push at the end of the game, that's okay.

I'm so mad the Cavs didn't take this guy over Tristan Thompson.

What's even worse is the fact that Cavs fans on RealGM act as if the jury is still out or that Thompson > Jonas because he put up better stats. It's mind-numbing.

I would love to see Tristan carry his team the way Jonas has been doing this summer.

Don't worry, it will get worse when you are 40 and still have the same thought in your head.

Is this a troll job? If it is, well, 5th. place and under 40% field goal shooting in Americas is nothing to drag about either.
