Anyone watched the Sleepy Hollow pilot this past week?
I believe he had his friend comedian Jay Pharaoh running his account during his dodge ball tournament. He deleted it right after but they still won't let it go.

Re: RTT IV: Sponsored by Slurm
I've never seen a fanbase take comments so seriously. I mean when JR Smith says something about the Nets I don't even care or think much of it, It's only trash talk we all do it and it's entertaining but for some reason when a Net says something about the Knicks everyones jimmies get all riled up and it turns into a 50 page of angryness it's always fun to see. I knew when I saw those D-Will tweets there would be an immediate thread about it sometimes you just got to sit back refresh and enjoy the show. I love when Paul Pierce talks though because for some reason the Knicks board thinks it's an accomplishment in defeating that dead Celtics team.jeff1624 wrote::rofl: at Knicks fans already with the 4 page thread regarding a tweet Deron sent out.

Oh please lets not act like everyone in here doesn't have homer glasses on...
I dislike the Celtics just as much as the Knicks, but im smart enough to recognize the gulf between the player Pierce is to the player Smith is and how Smith shouldn't even be talking smack about a player he'll never be able to become
Let's be serious, Pierce wouldn't be a starter on the Knicks at this stage in his caster. This isn't 2007

So, let me get this straight...He comes off a year averaging 18.6ppg, 4.8 assists, 5 rebounds on 43% shooting (57% TS), 38% three point shooting and the 2nd most triple dubs behind LeBron at SF and he wouldn't start for the Knicks?
I'm honestly embarrassed for them.

This isn't exactly the angle you were originally implying...

Re: RTT IV: Sponsored by Deron Rustling Jimmies
Actually no, Melo starts at PF, at least he did all of last year. It's him and Tyson as the big men, and then the Knicks usually went with Felton, Shump, and Kidd as the perimeter 3.
Pierce is a SF, not a PF...he would have easily started over Shump or Kidd.
This year, Melo is probably going to be a PF again, with Shump, Felton, and maybe Prigioni starting on the perimeter. Again, Pierce would easily start.

Now you're just being coy.
You stated "Let's be serious, Pierce wouldn't be a starter on the Knicks at this stage in his caster. This isn't 2007"... implying that Pierce is now a scrub because he's old and therefore wouldn't be able to start.
As realbig3 said, Melo was played mainly as a power forward anyway, so the other implication I'm sure you were vaguely hinting at, that Pierce would have to start at the 2 and that JR Smith is now better then Pierce is also rubbish.

You were clearly implying Pierce is too old to start by saying "It's not 2007". Pierce at 35 was productive, still very good and would be the second best player on the Knicks.
Melo has played the Small Forward position 5 times last season, his main position was Power Forward which he will most likely be again since it's his best position to play and the fact remains, Pierce would easily start over Shumpert, JR, Artest or Prigoni in any case.

You were clearly implying Pierce is too old to start by saying "It's not 2007" which to me is kinda ironic since the Knicks relied on a 40 year old Kidd to be their leader and Pierce at 35 was much more productive, still very good and would be the second best player on the Knicks.

Yes we really relied on a 40 yr old Kidd...he was our 3rd string PG.. Don't compare Pierce who will be starting a third stringer...
JR doesn't start and neither does Prigioni...I'll give u Artest but he may not be a starter either, Pierce def wouldn't start over Shump tho, Shump is an elite defender and plays the 2...

Bargiani was brought in this yr, my guess is he'll be starting at the 4 and Melo will move back to the 3

I hope Bargnani is the starting 4 and that Melo is the starting 3...that defense will be atrocious.
And if you had Bargnani and Pierce, Melo would be moved to the 4 and Pierce would start at the 3, since that's the better lineup.
There's no way Pierce wouldn't start if he was on the Knicks, sorry.

So, a Top 15 scorer last season would be a third stringer on a roster with only one capable scorer and calliing Kidd a third stringer doesn't change the fact, he was the most important PG to the team as a whole from the court to the locker room and Prigoni was the third stringer, not Kidd.
JR doesn't start and neither does Prigioni...I'll give u Artest but he may not be a starter either, Pierce def wouldn't start over Shump tho, Shump is an elite defender and plays the 2...
So, if Shumpert plays the 2, then Pierce would easily start at the 3? No? Who would start over a guy averaging 18ppg at the Small Forward position?
Like I said before, Pierce would be the most all around and efficient player on the Knicks. Easily, the second best player behind Melo and he would be a full time starter. If you don't want to believe that, that's fine. It's not my team.

Kidd was 1-19 in the playoffs and lost his spot well before that to Prigioni...he was terrible after January
Pierce plays no Defense, he wouldn't start on the Knicks..most efficient player shooting 43%? I don't think so

Raw field goal percentage, the premier statistical measure of efficiency.

Well, no. He does play defense. He's a decent defender and he was pretty solid in efficient all of last season...
Pierce's shooting stats:
Shot 43% from the field
38% from three overall
56% True Shooting Pct
40.5% in spot up threes
40% FG in isolation plays
Those are better field goal, three point, true shooting numbers than JR who is the next second best scorer for them. So, yeah...Pierce would be the second best efficient scorer on that team. He's not a scrub.

Re: RTT IV: Sponsored by Deron Rustling Jimmies
This is ridiculous, IDK why anyone is even trying to justify whether or not Pierce would start on the Knicks...he easily would. He would also easily be their 2nd best player. Ask your own fanbase whether or not they would start Pierce on their team...the overwhelming majority (unless I give Knicks fans too much credit) will say yes.
You're telling me a lineup of Felton-Shump-Melo-Bargnani-Chandler is better than Felton-Shump-Pierce-Melo-Chandler? Bull. And why would Melo go back to playing the 3 when he had the best year of his career playing the 4?

Hey,
What would you guys suggest on being the best time to buy Nets tickets? Would you suggest to buy them now, or wait till about middle of october? For November games I mean.
