Lithuania looks horrible. They were simply surviving from Kleiza hero ball.

Seibutis is just awful right now. He should not be in the game, let alone guarding Tony Parker.

Seibutis just plain sucks today. LT reversed to careless passing and perimeter shooting team. Disappointing.

Jonas looked like he was very nervous/ not very aggressive at all in his short stint in the game.

He is at his best when he is being assertive!
Props to TZ for the sig:

Well Jonas, Motiejunas and other guy entered then Lithuania was leading and France went on 10 points lead.

What has Lavrinovic done to get more minutes than JV and the starting job? I get he might have had a few solid games but come on..

Yeah... you're not going to win when the other team is shooting 70%

Ahahaha that's what happens when the team looks off of its big men (definitely not just Jonas) pretty much every time.

Was that pass actually supposed to go to Jonas? I saw the replay and I think it was but for whatever reason JV obviously thought it wasn't, he got out of the way.

True but I wouldn't blame JV for that. Most of the points scored was by the guards.

Wow.. a possible 3 points for Lithuania ends up in a 3 for France. Very bad turnover.

I think JV should sit the rest of the game after that desperation 3 ball France just hit.

when France makes shots like that it is over. I guess we can't complain to much, silver for LT is great as well.

Because that's the pass they always make - use the roller as a decoy and make the skip pass - I think the passer got caught between the two options.

end of half 3 by FRA LIT down 16. Havent watched any of the Eurobasket games, but it looks like JV doesn't get a lot of burn.

P.S. I missed a bunch of the first half, what's the story?

Yeah I think so too because you're right, that's basically what they always run.
