Man, Bojan Bogdanovic is legit. Can't wait to see him in the NBA. He keeps improving with every passing offseason, it's good to see.

The contract with the Nets was voided right? Where will he play next season?
Props to Croatia for keeping it close. Best chance is to strike late.

Nets will most likely bring him over next off-season. The contract wasn't voided, I think they weren't able to work a buy out with his team.

Parker looks like the worst player on the France roster and that says something. Literally everyone is making shots. Our defence suddenly doesn't look so good. LTU need a miracle now, because Parker will eventually take over if things get grim.

Parker can have bad games too.
Obviously LTU is in a small hole right now, but bball is a game of runs. Still plenty of time to come back.

Congratulations to France. Great team effort and great display of what they are capable of when they're playing up to their potential.
Special compliments to Tony Parker for sticking with his national team through some pretty sh*tty years and teammates and finally obtaining a major international title.

Re: Official Eurobasket 2013 Thread
Pretty lackluster final, a norm when it comes to this tournament, it seems. Kinda dissapointed since Lithuania played really well and looked to be up for the task, but France just barraged us in the 2nd and the rest is history. The gap between these two teams wasn't that big, kinda simbolic that the French won by 14 when they lost exactly by 14 in the 2nd round.
Parker never missed a Eurobasket since 2001, people talk about Nowitzki's patriotism, but what can you say about a guy who played and lived majority of his life in the US, was born in Belgium and never stopped playing for his country even when they lost so many times in the latter stages. Happy for him.

Re: Official Eurobasket 2013 Thread
Man... I just can't describe it... WE'RE CHAMPIONS
When you saw TP during the interview with french television dude literaly had stars in the eyes
The first thing I thought about when we won was 2003... A french "dream team" with a young NBA champion Parker, Diaw, Abdul Wahad, Moisi etc... We were supposed to wreck the whole damn competition. It was the case until we failed in semi and third place and didn't qualify for Olympics.
10 years later, no Joakim Noah nor Seraphin. We are champions with Alexis Ajinca and the Johan Petro of the world that are doing what they had to do.
When you know this team, everybody were like "Man this final will be HARD etc...". Then those guys are playing the best game EVER from a french NT from a context POV. I mean seriously this team notoriously known for **** up everything or toughnailed winning, just play an amazing game in total control with an amazing serinity. That's laughable
Diaw, Parker, Batum, Florent Pietrus, De Colo... And of course Vincent Collet who is a great coach. Not on some Phil Jackson type of psychologist/leadership coaching but a great Xs and Os coach.
Anyway, mad props to Lietuva. The ultimate basketball culture country with an AMAZING public. 2 millions people in this country and since 30 years they are bringing amazing players. Cheers.

Re: Official Eurobasket 2013 Thread
Valanciunas didn't look too good for the prospect people say he is.
He averaged 6/5 throughout the competition (tho on limited minutes), completely disappeared during some games, and he was the 6th best scorer on the Lithuanian national team. His competition was mostly scrub European centers.
Centers can dominate Eurobasket games. Players like Marc Gasol and Nenad Krstic were playing extremely well, and were the best on their teams, even Alexis Ajinca was extremely solid. Jonas was nowhere to be seen.
