It's early in the season still, but never too early to start speculating.
Three teams in the NFC are 3-0, Bears, Saints, Seahawks, three teams who were thought to be elite are 1-2, Packers, Falcons, 49ers. Only 5 of those 6 teams can make the playoffs. All the 3-0 teams look to be legit, especially Seattle and New Orleans, so it is very likely that one of Green Bay, San Francisco or Atlanta will miss the playoffs this season.
Of those teams, which one is most likely to be on the outside looking in when the season ends?

Re: NFC Playoff teams
Both of Green Bay's and Atlanta's losses have been on the road against good teams and all were close games. 49er's got crushed at home by a team that barely beat Oakland at home by 4. Outside of a crippled Green Bay secondary, Kaepernick hasn't done anything and they aren't lucky with injuries like last year. If they lose on Thursday I'll be surprised if they finish 8-8.

Re: NFC Playoff teams
I still have GB and SF as playoff teams. Only one of my 6 picks I'd change is the Giants, they're done.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Re: NFC Playoff teams
I'm still not yet sold on the Bears. While their win against the Bengals was impressive, they barely beat an awful Vikings team at home and crushed a Steelers team that literally has no OL or running game to speak of. Still think the Packers and even Lions will end up better.
Wouldn't shock me though if the 49ers ended up being this year's fall off team. They have injuries and a tough schedule, but I still think that team is too strong to not make the postseason.

Re: NFC Playoff teams
Revisiting this, Bears have a piss easy schedule. Could easily finish 10-6 even if the defense doesn't pick it up. Falcons look like the clear choice here, but Detroit is going to be in the race now. SF/Seattle, NO, whoever wins the NFC East (Dallas?) and then 2 out of the NFC north make it.
