Its as if camp/practice doesn't exist.

Would you actually throw a player to the wolves if he was performing poorly in camp? Certainly that sounds pretty dumb to me.

How he performs in camp and during practice will ultimately dictate the amount of time he sees on the court.

I know he's young and raw and all that, but Hammond's got it right. Keep him up here practicing against real NBA players. Let him sample some real game time here and there to give him a feel for the speed of the game and for coaches to get a good sample. And as he improves he earns more shots at PT. This could happen prior to the season or next year.

So the right thing to say is we have a raw guy that likely wont see much PT this year. I'll hold off on that and wait to see how he does against NBA talent even if its only the Bucks version of NBA talent. I fully believe that if Giannis is a star or perhaps even an all-star he will show signs much sooner than later.

I have no faith in this organization actually allowing that to happen.

That is ridiculous. His standing reach has to be in that 9-3+ range.

Article and five-minute audio piece on Yannis and the Antetokounmpos. His 'G-Bo' nickname from fans is highlighted at the end of the piece. I hope the local widespread inability to pronounce his name can go away in time. Maybe it was just my interpretation of the narrator but it almost sounds like a slight.

eta: Reading over the hyperlink, they refer to him as G-Bo. I know that he once remarked about liking the G-Bo nickname but his name really isn't that hard to pronounce with consideration/learning.

I have a much simpler last name that gets slaughtered all the time. No big deal. I doubt he'll be offended if a bunch of Bucks' fans can't figure it out.

I'm sure once people hear his name being pronounced multiple times on air by John and Jim, it'll become easier for them.

I've liked G-Bo since the start and that's what I'll be calling him.

I hear Johns only doing home games now? Sidney Moncrief away. That will be kind of cool.

Until he can dunk flat footed I'm calling this kid a certified bust.

Moncrief is the Bucks equivalent of the Brewers' Davey Nelson.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.
