Manny Machado just got taken off on a stretcher after blowing up his left knee rounding first. It was not pretty.

I know he's on a rival team, but he's way too much fun to watch to lose. Hope he recovers well.

And Casilla had an amazing catch but dropped the ball in a collision with his head and Markakis' leg. I have no idea how he is staying in the game. Could have been catch of the year. It was amazing.

Get rid of Francona? Really just let him go to help another team (Cleveland) make the playoffs.

I may be biased but this postseason is just begging for a Sox-Indians playoff series. Just two irregular teams built full of lunch-pail guys and dudes, playing fantastic ball and to top it all off, Francona vs Farrell. Teacher vs Student. Give me this please.

Nats were one out away from being no hit last night. God bless Ryan Zimmerman. It's bad enough to lose to the Cardinals but to get no hit would have really sucked.

The Nats are annoying. I'm not watching their games but I sincerely hope they aren't laying down for the Cards since they're out of it now.

All I need to do is tie the cards n home field in the NLDS is ours.

i need just one more in that loss column for atlanta so I can face them in round 1 and not the Cards.
or 2 more (granted we come back on the Giants tonight) so we can have the HFA in the 1st round

Was talking to my professor (huge orioles fan) yesterday.

He said if he were the O's, he'd offer Manny 7 years 70 mill right now in the offseason.

I think Teheran overreacted to the Harper HR. He really didn't do anything as far as I'm concerned. Fernandez and Gomez were definitely out of line, though. Fernandez is still a kid and he was extremely apologetic to the point of tears. That whole situation actually made me like Fernandez more. Gomez on the other hand...what a nutjob.

Brian McCann needs to STFU and stop lecturing every player that takes a longer HR trot.

Not a fan of any of the three NL division winners. Go Reds and Bucs in the NL. In the AL as long as it's not the Red Sox winning I'm okay, but I'd love to see Billy Beane's A's make a run.
