Keith Langlois ‏@Keith_Langlois 21m

News out there about Henry Bibby added to Mo Cheeks' staff. Mo just said there is no "No. 1 assistant." He also doesn't assign D, O coaches

Money isn't a worry with Gore, is more of if we are winning. Moose doesn't necessarily put fans in the seats, if theirs a more appealing option, Gore maybe decide to pursue that player. Also i could very well see smith and/or jennings off this team by the end of the season, depending on how things play out.

If the team becomes a product that people will come to see (in other words, a winning one) I believe Gores will put fourth the money to keep it. Getting butts in the seats has always been the goal, and winning is the one tried and true method to making that happen in Detroit. The rest is secondary.

I'm just not as optimistic as others about that winning actually happening this season.

i'm on the same boat where i'm not holding my breath that we are a playoff caliber team, however i do know that this team this year is twice as talented and as athletic as last years team, and that every team we player we legitimately have a chance to win at least on paper. Something i haven't been able to say since Billups left

Why wouldn't he be courtside?? he's still an assistant coach.

i can't find the article i read, but i was under the impression player development coaches are typically not court-side.

If that is the case, that sucks.
It would have been nice to have sheed in Drummonds and monroes ear through out the game giving them pointers and all that. Oh well, if that is the case he'll still be around the team enough for those guys to learn from him.

IF this is the case, i could very well see it getting to the point where Dre and Moose state they want him on the sideline

“I got there not having played five on five for the whole summer and I walked right into that and now I feel like I’m ready to play,” he said. “It’s going to be fun to get started with all these guys. I’ve been looking forward to that for a while. I got back from Europe yesterday, woke up at 3 in the morning and got here to work with Arnie. He said no playing, but I’m definitely going to play a few games before training camp starts. I’m good – I feel great.

What are you guys talking about? Of course big men coach's are there for games. Rogers was there during every game the last two years. Cowans was always at every game. Ewing was at every game for Orlando. Kareem was at the games when developing Bynum. Unless they are making a special exception for Rasheed that I'm not aware of, I would expect him to be at every game.
