I lived in Freeport, Grand Bahama for 6 years, as a child. It's alright. It's sad to go back and see that despite all the corporations moving in, the people are still poor.

Anyway, I'm just glad basketball is back. The Phins and Heat are gonna make this a great year.

I too lived there for a few months (2 years ago), did a semester for Ross Med School there. Lived near Port Lucaya, ate there most of the time. Hated, not having a car and having to ride the vans/buses. But I gotta say the local people there are the best. I can't tell you how many times strangers gave me rides and actually dropped me off where I wanted... I still miss Salsa night at the Casino.

Where'd you live? If you don't mind me asking.
