Rewatching the game, just got to that part:

New Orleans really exposed Miami's inherent weaknesses, namely Jon Martin at left tackle and a very subpar group of RBs. I continue to be amazed that the Saints defense isn't awful, but credit to Rob Ryan for creating havoc.

SMH at Jimmy Graham, he's just insanely gifted. He might be the best offensive weapon in the game right now. Just, wow

Drew Brees and that offense maximizes his talent. I would still take Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson over him just because they draw so much more attention.

I think I'd probably take Calvin Johnson over Graham, but not Peterson. Graham can impact the game in so many ways; he's the ultimate matchup weapon. Look at that play last night where he started lined up tight, then motioned outside of Colston. The Dolphins had to change their entire coverage scheme in like 3 seconds and Brees burned 'em on it. They did that alignment in the first game and it wound up with a defensive end covering Sproles on a wheel route with the safety stuck on Graham running a post. That kind of impact is rare.

Having said that, I'd probably choose AD if you could guarantee his knees were going to stay healthy. I worry about that more than a little, irrational or not.

Fair enough. I also worry about Purple Jesus' knees. I'm not a Vikings fan by any means, but I don't want him to blow out again and lose his career, he's way too special.

This might be a reach, but I'd like to think Fitz would be putting up stupid numbers to compete with Megatron if he had any sort of decent QB since Warner left town.

Those are the three that I can say I would take over Jimmy Graham on a weekly basis. Andre Johnson and Fitz are in the periphery of that group, but it's hard to say.

How come Dez gets no love? Since the beginning of last season he's got more TD catches than anyone.
I realize his numbers weren't really crazy until last year (though that would be due to developing along what was a normal trajectory for WRs) Is it because they didn't force the ball to him the first game this season? Or because they were dumb enough to not keep going to him in the second game when he already lit up the chiefs for over 100 yards in the first quarter?

Honestly I'm curious, because I don't see any way Dez isn't a top 5 receiver. Seems the 11 class of Aj Green and Julio Jones get all the attention and the 10 class of Demaryius Thomas and Dez Bryant don't. But I don't believe those duos are far apart if at all.

Fine player? Look at the numbers, hint: they're elite, not "fine."

If you like 5 other recievers better, thats fine. But if you don't think Jimmy is up there with the elite, then go check the numbers, or even better, watch him play.
