Great video, I mostly agree with everything they said - good and bad.

Minus the awful Simmons' trade idea.

Dragic to OKC for Perkins/Lamb/Jackson? BLECH... Jalen Rose kind of set him straight on that one though...

Oklahoma missed the boat on a trade with the Suns.

LOL. Jalen Rose is bitter about his time with the Suns.

...and what's this bull about Steve Nash being happier playing for the Lakers then playing in Phoenix??? How in the hell did they arrive at that conclusion?

The Suns better be getting picks if they are trading Gortat and Dragic, none of this another team's assortment of trash to help make them better. Late 1st rounders are something teams in the playoffs who want to try and get over that hump are going to part with for solid, productive players like those two.

I can honestly see us dealing with Houston again. Especially if Frye is healthy and playing at his level over his last couple of active seasons, ie 12 and 7 with threes galore...

I'd love to get Terrence Jones from them, he's got some serious upside on the defensive end...Aaaaand another Kentucky guy!

if OKC want Dragic or Gortat they should at least throw in some first round pick.

Another Bill Simmons idiotic trade. Take the best player off a struggling team and send him to a contending team for pile of rubble.

Neither Dragic nor Gortat are going to be traded to OKC. They do not have anything to give in return that Suns would want.

My first and final offer to OKC is Gortat, Frye and filler (Brown?) for Ibaka and Perkins.

We get both the best and worst players in the trade, one of which has the potential to be a star big man. The other is flat out trash.

OKC get a couple of solid, experienced and inexpensive veteran bigs to complement their 1-2 punch. Both are nice all-round offensive/ defensive combo's that provide dimensions that they currently lack (outside shooting, pick and roll option). Pus, they also save a little bit of cash. Heck, throw in Kendall Marshall to fill in while Westy is out too.

PHX: Dragic, Bledsoe, Green, Ibaka, Len

OKC: Westbrook, Sefolosha, Durant, Frye, Gortat

With Westbrook being for another 2 months the Suns can test the waters for OKCs interest in Dragic. Maybe squeeze them for a nice young player, some filler and a 1st rounder since they might feel pressure to get someone who can start now and be depth for later. With the rebuilding the Suns are doing they should be looking for youth and picks for the assets they have and don't plan on keeping.

Did he set him straight? I thought he tried to throw in Gortat in that awful trade. :o

Gortat's value is no where near Ibaka's, even when you include Perk's deal

This.

Dragic + Gortat.

For

Lamb, Jones, future picks, Adams, Perkins, plus cash

Get as much as possible.

But they may take the beating for the first 1-2 months... Durant will put up godly numbers though.

a jaded xsun and a guy who's been ax grinding us for the past 5 yrs....

pass on all the obvious speak.

And why in the world do you want to trade Dragic again ? Jesus, will this Lamb infatuation ever end ?

A trade like that won't happen until it is proven that Dragic and Bledsoe don't mesh. You are essentially condemning McDo's main move this yr...condemning the strategy Hornecek is already formulating. Knocking the drafting of Griffin for the SG spot...

The FO isn't going to shake down what they have built up just for a couple of 'may bes' and a lousy draft pick.

Its foolish and has no base for reality except in tank land, where this thread belongs.

And then when it is another struggling team (but HIS team), he proposes something like Rondo to Detroit as long as they take Gerald Wallace's last 3 years and $30 million, and send Boston Monroe, Caldwell Pope and a first. He seriously said that would be fair.

Yeah, I think Hornacek really wants to see Bledsoe and Dragic together, and feels it can work like him and KJ did. It can if they both get a little better at shooting from downtown. I don't think the national writers know that the current regime seems fairly high on Dragic.

I like both of these guys, but Simmons keeps bringing up the 2010 team...yeah, they screwed up but that was 3 years ago and now, for once, they are making the right moves.

Jalen is still bitter, whatever.
