3. Penguins – Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are healthy at the same time.
4. Kings - Despite a streaky offense, the Kings shut down their opponents.
5. Rangers - New coach Alain Vigneault has some firepower this season.
6. Sharks – Defenseman Brent Burns and center Joe Thornton will lead the way.
7. Red Wings – The Red Wings with Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg move to the Eastern Conference.
8. Blues – The Blues keep games close and Vladamir Tarasenko should receive more playing time.
9. Canucks – The Canucks have turned their hopes to new coach John Tortorella.
10. Senators – Bobby Ryan should outscore the departed Daniel Alfredsson this season.
11. Maple Leafs – The Maple Leafs have the potential to be a 100-point team this season.
12. Canadiens - One of the NHL’s most consistent teams.
13. Wild – The Wild need more production from their entire lineup.
14. Islanders – John Tavares will need to lead the way for the Islanders.
15. Oilers – New coach Dallas Eakins inherits plenty of young talent.
16. Ducks – Teemu Selane, 43, is back for another season in Anaheim.
17. Flyers – The Flyers have added goaltender Ray Emery.
18. Capitals - The team made few offseason moves and could be in for a rough season.
19. Blue Jackets - There could be some fun nights for Jackets’ fans.
20. Predators - The Predators will need to find more scoring punch from their roster.
21. Lightning - Steve Stamkos is the NHL’s most consistent goal scorer.
22. Jets - The team may not be ready to compete for a title this season, but could be a contender in the not so distant future.
23. Hurricanes – The team needs a productive Cam Ward on a nightly basis.
24. Coyotes - Phoenix signed Mike Ribeiro to a four-year deal in the offseason.
25. Sabres - The Sabres must improve on the power play and may have to make some roster changes sometime soon.
26. Stars - The Stars have only a few offensive threats this season.
27. Avalanche - The Avs continue to have plenty of holes on defense.
28. Flames - Who is going to score goals for the Flames this season?
29. Devils – The Devils were the lowest-scoring team last season.
30. Panthers - The team will be poor on offense and it may be a long season for fans.
