Sean O'Haire had the whole package. But hey, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

I thought I was the only one who remembered him. He's the reason why I clicked on this thread, but you got to it first.
Other guys (without trying to repeat)-
Lance Storm
Ken Shamrock
Ron Killings
Repo Man
Tajiri

It's amazing how cartoonish wrestling used to be. That's also probably when I loved it the most.

I mentioned this in another thread, when Bischoff was about to buy WCW one of the things he was going to do was give a huge push to O'Haire. At the time him and Chuck Palumbo were tag champs and were feuding with Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger. At the next PPV they were going to do an injury angle with Palumbo and O'Haire was going to beat Buff and Luger in a handicap match clean. And that would be the springboard for his singles push.

Wow. That would have been interesting.

Paul Birchill and Harry Smith. Both had decent size, and was good in the ring, Harry had the pedigree but both kinda just floundered around. I think they happened to come around when creative wasn't very good if you weren't a top guy and the old guard was still around burying guys with backstage politics. If they both debuted now I think they would be stars.

Shelton Benjamin for me. I know the guy was painful on the mic, but he was just ridiculous in the ring. Loved watching him work.
Also, I know he was a star elsewhere, but with all the hype the WWE built with bringing him in, I thought the Ultimo Dragon would have done at least something of merit within the company.

I wouldn't say I expected Matt Morgan to be a huge star, he's not the most fluid athlete and while he's competent on the mic, he's not exactly dynamic on it. But he's a legit 7 feet tall, he's solid in the ring, he's competent on the mic and I would've expected him to be at least a consistent mid-card to upper mid-card card guy.
