Lol yeah that first surgery news is kinda shocking but I was quoting the article for the fact that Wade is going to continue working with Grover through training camp, which I thought was pretty cool :lol:

Yeah I think initially it was just supposed to be six weeks, but they extended. Hopefully Grover flies in periodically to work with him.

not much gets out of this organization...miami is very secretive about this stuff for competitive reasons.

The surgery happened at Marquette. The Heat had no control over that info.

Well, I figure at that time he was just trying to get in to the NBA, so he didn't want the slower recovery procedure, which would have limited him in his final year at Marquette, pushing him out of the lottery maybe go undrafted. It's unfortunate but I understamd the motivation behind it.

Marquette never disclosed what the procedure was.

You are correct about that, but they did disclose that there was a procedure, which should've been easy for the reporters to find out about:

@JoeGoodmanJr 18h

Wade said today he had his meniscus removed while at Marquette. In March 2002, Marquette said Wade had arthroscopic surgery for minor tear.

Crazy that this comes out 11 years later.

Top 10 in sales seems accurate as talent goes too...

But D-wade "isn't a top 10 talent anymore".

I can't fkn wait for this season to start...
