KG & The Truth add defense and leadership that the team was lacking. That is why the Nets will win the Atlantic Division.

They both need wheel chairs, the nets will not get past the knicks just on age alone.

KG sitting on back to backs will hurt the W/L.

I think Joe J will have a monster year because of this. Takes so much pressure off of him defensively and offensively, teams will forget to look for him.

If Raptors can demonstrate that this team is an Improved team with a different Offense/Defense + Bench
they can be good enough to fight for the 5th seed vs. NYK
But not good enough for Atlantic Div.

You are delusional. When has JJ had a monster year? What year was it when KG or "The Truth" won an NBA title? Here's the "truth" NY will have a better year then the Geriatric horror show than your stupid owner slapped together with gum and tape, LOL!

Based on what? Psychedelic Drugs? Nets will be lucky to finish with the 8th seed, which is a stretch. to say the least.

Meanwhile, The Fakers will be going to the Lottery. So, are the Nets your new bandwagon team?

BTW, nice job of F--King up the D-Howard sitch! ; ) Your franchise is a joke.

Except one of the scariest things about this deal for the long term is that the Nets have Andray Blatche. Seriously.

I know a lot of people never noticed Blatche when he was playing with the Wiz all those years, but take a closer look at his game and his story and you'll see how perfect this situation is for him now. Kevin is the perfect mentor for him showing up at the perfect time.

So rather than sit Kevin entirely on back to backs, the Nets would be wise I think to limit his average minutes in most regular season games so that he never gets much worn down by the regular season grind. And Blatche has to play significant minutes in real games so he can go through games having Kevin scream in his face every time play stops all night long all year long for as many seasons as they play together. It's like maybe the best thing that could happen to Blatche.

"LOL!" When was the last time the Knicks won something?

What year was it? Only 5 years ago hahaha. Don't worry about the C's. Just watch out for Joe J. I'll hate to say I told you so in June.

This site is so misrepresented by Toronto Raptors fans...lol. Every poll which includes them or some interest of theirs is going to produce highly biased results.

The Raptors have essentially the same craptastic mediocre team as last season, upgraded with Tyler hansbroug (wow!). Jonas valanciunas still seems a bit young to do much more than 12 and 8, and this wont be enough to take Toronto past mediocrity.

This organization better come to terms with how badly they need Andrew Wiggins. I'm sure once the crap-fest begins, and subparness reigns supreme, management will ship out gratuitous contracts like Senor Gay and Senor Lowry.

For those of you who keep sleeping on the Knicks just remember the script from last season same Outlook by all u "Anal"-yst and all we did was win the Atlantic going away and #2 seed in the east. For those who think that was done because others lost players forget we had many injuries as well during the season including 2 fifths of our projected starting lineup out for significant time, and as well as losing in the 2nd rd to the Pacers they are given way too much credit for beating us while injured & older players just totally shot at that point in the season. The Knicks have upgraded their roster as far as in prime talent, and the overrall health should be much better with our younger players. So keep sleeping I see at least the same outcome as last year and are a legitimate contender of the 5 teams that can win the east and the 11 teams that can win it all. I expect a great nba & Knicks season.

They lost the depth and veteran leadership from Kidd, Wallace, Camby they also lost Novak shooting. You call Bargnani an upgrade?

Blache has a good midrange game but his defense is sub par. KG isnt going to be a 20ppg scorer, hes going to be the Nets anchor on D, brings mental toughness, will preach sharing the ball & also doesnt need to ball to have an impact on the game. Blache brings very few intangibles to the game but he can score. And from that standpoint KG sitting will hurt the win/loss. Nets have enough offense, cant sit defense (KG) then plug in more offense & expect the wins not to get impacted.

Sheed only played 21 games, Kidd was ineffective in the late season, Camby was a non factor & so was novak. Our bench got upgraded, yes we lost veteran leadership but thats why we have coaches we got younger which was our biggest problem last season. Bargs last fully healthy season he averaged 21 yes he is an upgrade over Novak. What can Novak do besides shoot? Bargnani can shoot and can also put the ball on the ground, complete layups & has no problems taking a 2pt field goal. Bargnani is also Bruce Bowen compared to Novaks lack of lateral speed. Novak is too slow to guard 3's & not strong enough to guard 4's useless on the court unless hes hitting 8 3's every game. Definitely an upgrade.

& it is hilarious that Brooklyn has an old roster exactly like NY had last season but everyone thinks the Nets will be iron men. BK mortgaged their future for KG & Pierce they better stop worrying about taking over NY and start worrying about winning a championship.
