Louis Scola: 4,868,499

Total- 5,783,752

Charlotte sends:
Carl Landry: 6,200,000
Marshoon Brooks: 2,179,354

Total-6,200,000

Charlotte accepts. We lose beloved teammates Carl Landry and Marshoon Brooks. However, we couldn't pass up the oppurtnity to add a free 1st.
We also gain finacial (and roster) flexibility thanks to this deal.
I love Jae Crowder - GO MAVS!

I'm absorbing Brooks with a TPE- I have like 5.
We accept.
We love Landry an feel he's a good fit as a starter with our team.

Trade 125

Brooklyn and Indiana announce deal

BKN sends - Taj Gibson - $8,000,000 & Tyshawn Taylor $1,115,243 = 9,115,243 to
IND for Carl Landry 6,500,000 & Marshon Brooks: 2,179,354 - 8,679,354

Taj is 2 years younger, same size a Carl Landry with worse stats across the board. Marshon has the size and has shown improvement over the past 2 years and seemingly is adjusting to the NBA style having come from Providence with the National scoring title in 2011. Nets feel Marshon has much higher upside than Tyshawn who is again an undersized combo guard with no exception NBA skills.

Pacers accept.
We are almost where we want to be with our team. Taj is a monster defender, and can hit the open shot. Taylor is just a salary filler. Good dealing Scott!!!

Disregard. I misunderstood. Chicago is only "interested" but does not accept. My bad

Ballin! Big trade late on Friday night! We wanted a pick in 2015, and Taylor has no use with Paul and Jameer. Plus we save some dinero'. Good dealing biz! You the man!

Total - $11,944,850

Detroit in / Denver out:

Deal. We had to many bigs, and not enough wings.

Trade rescinded. Turns out that Denver did not have Memphis's unprotected 2015 1st; they had a heavily protected pick and we were unable to agree to alternative compensation.

130: BKN/MEM

Brooklyn Trades: Nikola Pekovic ($12,100,000), MarShon Brooks (2,179,354), Alex Polythress ($1,160,880) = 15,440,234
Memphis Trades: Kenneth Faried (2,249,768), Martell Webster (5,381,750), Kosta Koufus ($3,000,000) = 10,631,518 (x1.5+100,000 = 16,047,277)

Memphis accepts. Pekovic is the type of bruising center we need in Memphis.

Brooklyn Accepts - Matter of chioce and Nets felt the Landry / Poythress / Evans was a much weaker link than Nik / Splitter and Spencer Hawes. This move brings us the PF we need to complete a starting roster and maintain excellent depth. Hate to move Petrovic, but he is a 1/2 court banger which will limit the options Nets have on the offensive end. Teams may challenge the interior, but Faried offers some of the toughness we lose in Pek. Koufos and Martell will improve the Nets depth as well and will more than offset the production that Poythress and MarShon brought. Nice Dealing Klomp - and the Nets still save some of their Lux Tax money.

131 Portland and Charlotte have reached a deal. We discussed this deal for awhile and ultimately I came to the decision that shoring up my backup SF position with a defensive player was more important than having a third string PG in Calderon. This deal cost me a second but I'm in win now mode so it was worth it to me.

Charlotte trades:
Gerald Wallace $10,105,855
Total: 10,105,855

Portland trades:
2016 Orlando Second
Jose Calderon 7,097,191
Joel Freeland 3,013,512
Total: 10,110,703

Charlotte happily accepts. Good dealing.
We like the pick we and Calderon.

We immediately waive Freeland and eat his salary for the year.

Indiana Pacers and Golden State Warriors agree to a deadline deal.

Pacers out / Warriors in:

JR Smith - 5,982,375
Steve Novak - 3,445,946
Total: 9,428,321

Golden State out / Indiana in:

Aaron Afflalo - 7,562,500

Salaries work as GSW's are WAY under the cap.

Why?
Now we have a lock down defender at every starting position. We have the best defensive team to go along with our best offensive team.
