lol thats another thing...the coach! pretty much we all dont like him much right now. but lets just say he takes us to wcf...someones goona say "phil was overrated" or "I knew hiring dantoni was a great move" this was basically the whole reasoning for this thread...for us to look back 4 months from now and lol at. say the guy that wanted pau traded because he had 3 bad games in a row BUT does well in the playoffs ...i get to say you wanted his ass traded remember??? and rub it in.

I don't think we'll hate certain players, they'll just get on our nerves some games. For me that could be anybody on any random night.

I feel yah. Gotta see it to believe it. But I just have a feeling that because our perimeter defense will get better because we have much younger legs. And also we all know Kobe hears the people who are criticizing his defense. With him being moved to predominately the SF position he wont have to worry about chasing around these SG's who run around a million picks every time down court. His on ball defense is still far above avg. Just think the biggest issue last season besides injuries was we were toooo slow on the perimeter especially on defense. With Farmer, Young, Wes, Williams and even Kelly (if he gets burn) we can really push up on the wing offensive players and apply pressure on the ball full court. We've haven't had the ability to do that in years


This to me is the BIGGEST reason CP3 and other young PG's always have gone off on us these past couple years. They never had to play the other end of the court on us because our PG's were older. They get the chance to rest on the defensive end. If you make players have to work on both ends of the court it does wonders to players effectiveness overall cause its really tough to do.

I like this current team, but same like others, hate Blake before last season. Now maybe Kaman will be get a lot hate, or Young with his chucking or Wes for his "supposed to be a good defeder" wasnt there.

Pau Gasol really has no more excuses next year if he plays soft basketball again. He is now the go-to guy in the post, has the best spacing he has ever had as a Laker, and 2 excellent P&R guards on his team (Nash and Kobe). He now also exclusively plays center so no more excuses on defense either.
