Adam Silver wouldn't comment on Jason Kidd's possible suspension but said they had a standard (two games) for DUIs.
How embaressing on TNT when the announcers talk about why the head coach isn't there.

At least the franchise knows Kidd and while it's embarrassing, they embrace him.
Budenholzer is a complete new hire for the Hawks and has no prior affiliation with them. Talk about making a first impression.
Btw, until it's confirmed that he's suspended, you should change the title cuz it's a little misleading.

The real coach...well, we all get it.
But how many times do coaches like Frank or anyone similar (X's & O's coach) get ignored eventually with players putting the head coach on mute and the approach-ability declining after 25% of the season due to lack of execution or frustration from the head coach w/ mistakes where it tends to wear on that relationship between player and coach. Just look at last season.
Kidd will put his mark on this team one way or another, no matter how much coaching he actually does in practice, his on the court experience w/ executing an offense or MAN-ing up on D is where he will get it done...being called out by Kidd during a game is a little different than being called out by Frank...I think the weight that Kidd will carry with players and what they need to get done can ultimately be the glue that makes this team fit...
Yes, throw in KG and PP, and your chemistry should be that much better...
I get the marketing tool and PR angle of Kidd and the Nets, but his value is way beyond the front which some of you only see...coaching and laying down the foundation of an offense and defense is obviously extremely important...but how it is implemented and the manner it is done in games will be very significant...
I am very curious, although I can imagine asst. coaches calling out plays and observations to the players, how big will Kidd's voice be from the sideline, in the huddle and in the locker room....that to me is where you will be able to quantify Kidd as the head coach...
And I have no problem saying it remains to be seen...however, you just cannot belittle Kidd as the head coach right now...the coaching system with this team is more complicated than that and his leadership and voice is what matters early on.
