he might give some praise for zeller and the hire of clifford.

I wonder what he will say about Brooklyn and if he has come to terms with that trade yet.

Man it was funny seeing how miserable he was that day.

Im more interested in seeing what he says about Doc Rivers and the Clippers.

Good news - Jalen thinks Zeller will win the ROY.

Bad news - both Bill and Jalen didn't know that Jacque Vaughn coached the Magic already last year since they nodded in agreement that all three teams they've covered so far have changed their head coaches (and there was a huge graphic with Vaughn listed as an addition). So you can't shake the feeling that they're talking out of their ass and don't know **** about the lottery teams.

He also said he thought we went 8-42, which is infinitely better than 7-59.

Bill seems to have mellowed out on straight hating us and other bad teams since he took the ESPN NBA 'analyst' job. Maybe they finally realize that, like the NFL, all of these teams have passionate fans so just dumping hate for no good reason on a team isn't such a good idea, but feeling sympathetic for these teams fans IS a good idea.

He also mentioned in the Magic video the hilarious Tobes Harris thread on the RealGM Milwaukee Bucks forum, so maybe he browses RealGM now too, and sees how each team actually has informative and passionate fans. I guarantee you he did not know the Bobcats had any such fans a few years ago.

Thats an easy over, just like last year's easy over. No way with our depth and the amount of teams tanking we win less than 30. Only way is injuries to Kemba, Al Jeff and Zeller

What was it last year? 18.5 or something? I don't remember precisely.

""D'Antoni Appears To Be Focusing More On Defense"" is one of the best Wiretap headlines in a long time.

Right after your three-time DPOY center bolts- that is always the time you want to start thinking about utilizing all that defensive talent on your roster.

That 35-year-old, Achilles-less, I-haven't-given-a-flying-f***-about-defense-in-years shooting guard of theirs might actually be the best defender they've got.

Stephen Graham is back in the league. The Bucks have signed him.

Is it just me or this totally flew under the radar? I would have expected at least a headline on the wiretap considering that we hear about camp invitees every other day. Maybe I just somehow missed out on it but I didn't see this on twitter, reddit or anywhere else.

Over/Under? Will Kevin Durant score 35ppg for the month or so that Westbrook is out?

Spoiler:
I say over. Durant's second option will literally be Serge Ibaka. :o

McCollum re-breaks bone in foot. This team has terrible luck with injuries, they should roll Lillard in bubble wrap or something.

Convince me.

Durant will have the ball in his hands more than anybody else for the first 4-6 weeks of the season. He will have known this for weeks and will be prepared to take on a bigger scoring load than he's over had to (unlike the playoffs where he was unprepared for being the only scoring weapon, but still managed an efficient 31/9/6). Westbrook's out, Martin's gone, Harden's gone. Ever since he became a star, he's always had a legit #2 option taking a lot of shots and a 3rd option taking plenty of shots as well. Someone has to pick up Westbrook's scoring load along with the 3rd option scoring load. Is it going to be a combination of Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson, Ryan Gomes, Derek Fisher, and Andre Roberson? Very doubtful that all five of them combined should be taking the number of shots Westbrook takes alone plus their own looks. Kevin Durant will have to do more with Westbrook out.

Durant's not going to put up 50/40/90 percentages with Westbrook out, but he's going to have to shoot a lot if the Thunder want to remain competitive in the early part of the season. For the first time in his career, Kevin Durant is really going to carry a team as far as he can take it. He shouldn't worry about his percentages, being called a ball-hog, etc. He needs to be in attack mode for the entire month of November, simply because he has nobody to defer to. He defers to Westbrook a little more than I'd like, and he's not going to have that option now.

You're absolutely right with what you're saying.

With that said, I'm gonna go with under, at 32 ppg. I'm also gonna say he has 3+ turnovers a game from handling the ball too much.

He'll probably commit about 4TOpg quite honestly. His career average is 3.2

I just don't see him averaging 35 in today's game where weak side D is so aggressive and you simply need to swing the ball around more to break the defense down.

Don't underestimate Reggie Jackson's ability to put up shots. He is cold blooded.
