iHeartKNicks wrote:& it is hilarious that Brooklyn has an old roster exactly like NY had last season but everyone thinks the Nets will be iron men. BK mortgaged their future for KG & Pierce they better stop worrying about taking over NY and start worrying about winning a championship.
With an aging rapidly declining Joe Johnson, two geriatric players in KG and Pierce, the lack of a true head coach, and the team's two best players wearing walking boots, I just don't see how Brooklyn will win anything but a huge Luxury Tax Bill this summer.
Their fans are so jaded over players like Blache who is another passionless Nets player. Honestly, I'd be shocked if brooklyn makes it past Detroit in the standings.
The Knicks are loaded this year, have veteran leadership in Udrih, MWP, Stat, and Brooklyn had better worry more about how KG and Pierce will even be able to stay on the floor for a full season against the only NBA team in New York.
Now that Tyson Chandler is taking on more of an offensive role, Lopez' defensive deficiencies will show the NBA that this guy's brother is the better NBA center. From 1-12, the Knicks have NBA champions on their teams who will destroy this lethargic mess on Atlantic Ave and have their bandwagon fans eat crow, once and for all.
Bargnani will have a field day against the AARP Net forwards who will be trying to cover Melo, Shump, J.R. Smith, MWP, Felton or the other muliple looks Woodson will throw out against J-Kidd's weekend "45+" Senior Squad, LOL!

I think Joe J will have a monster year because of this. Takes so much pressure off of him defensively and offensively, teams will forget to look for him.
You are delusional. When has JJ had a monster year? What year was it when KG or "The Truth" won an NBA title? Here's the "truth" NY will have a better year then the Geriatric horror show than your stupid owner slapped together with gum and tape, LOL!
When has NY won anything? We got HOFers over here.
You mortgaged your entire future for Boston Celtic Hall Of Famers who couldn't even beat an injured Knicks team 5 months back, which now has restocked their roster with a 3 deep line-up. The Hall Of Fame argument just proves your lack of NBA acumen and belief that KG and PP are even average NBA players in 2013-14, at best. Stop embarrassing yourself, already!
