PS1: vs Hawks Tues Oct 8 7:30PM EST

Post#1 » by fatlever » Mon Oct 7, 2013 4:09 pm

This game is being played in Asheville, NC.

The game is televised on SportsSouth for those on NC/SC (assuming your provider shows Cats games)

Projected Starters
PG: Kemba Walker
SG: Gerald Henderson
SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
PF: Cody Zeller
C: Al Jefferson

Key Bench: Ben Gordon, Jeff Taylor, Ramon Sessions, Bismack Biyombo

* McRoberts has been nursing a sore toe in training camp, so perhaps the team limits his minutes in pre-season.
** Haywood will not play

Should be able to find pie for tomorrows game. After that I'm guessing not unless the opposing team is televising.

article about zeller starting

“Josh has had so little time on the court he’s not nearly ready to play from a conditioning standpoint, nor a rhythm standpoint,” Clifford said. “He’s a ways away.”

sounds like mcbobs toe is worse than i thought. hate to see him start off the season banged up. something like a hurt toe isnt going to heel playing 3 games a week.

Reserve center Brendan Haywood will sit out the Hawks game with a sprained foot. Jefferson missed part of practice Monday with a sore hamstring, but the injury didn’t appear serious.

i dont think they play past the 1st quarter, they played Miami today, but that should be enough time to see where we're at on defense

let's go boys! Pretty psyched. I'm going to brave the 12:30AM start time here. Wonder if McBob's bum toe might be Adrien's meal ticket this year? Might get him off the bubble.

I can't wait to watch this new and improved Bobcats team with Al Jeff and Cody scoring in the post. Even though it's just preseason I hope they come out to really play and don't leave us with so many question marks.

I'll be there tonight.

Things I'm looking for:

1) Zeller's ability as a scorer and go-to guy. I want to get a feel for his presence on the court.
2) Kemba's look with 2 post guys added who actually know what they're doing.
3) Taylor's improvement.
4) Michael Jordan in the stands
5) Hot hippy girls

In no particular order of course
It has been written...
