Inactive List:

Matt Barnes (Sore Left Calf), Reggie Bullock (Sore Knee) and JJ Redick (Quad Strain) are out.

Will Barton (Concussion) will play.
LaMarcus Aldridge (Hip Flexor), CJ McCollum (Left Foot, Fractured Metatarsal), Earl Watson (Leg), Mo Williams (Ankle) and Dorell Wright (Dislocated Finger) are out.

The Clippers begin the preseason with a trip to Portland to play the Trail Blazers in the first game in the newly named Moda Center (formerly known as the Rose Garden). This will be the first look of the Doc Rivers era for the Clippers. In the first preseason game of last season, we witnessed an unveiling of the improved post game of DeAndre Jordan. What new wrinkles will we see from the players on Monday night?

On the poll, I'm pretty much excited about the whole team so I didn't really know who to pick. So I went with who I will be paying the most attention to out of the newcomers and that is Byron Mullens. He is my biggest worry for sure, and may be my scapegoat this season.

Sucks that McCollum is out. Hopefully Aldridge will play though, would like to see the Clips face a team with its main players available.

I voted for Mullens; although I really like, and expect Reddick to be big for us. We actually didn't have a starting 2 gaurd last year, so his consistent 3pt shooting will be huge. Mullens is still more of an unknown, I mean he's supposed to be a "floor stretcher", but I'm hoping he can give us some low post scoring as well. Besides Blake, we still don't have a low post scoring threat-----which was my biggest complaint from last year. Hopefully Doc won't just have Mullens, with his size/athlectism shooting jumpers, make him get some points in the post as well.

Doc said he likes to play guys heavy the first game bring it downing the middle games, then back up at the end, so we might see the starters in for 30+ minutes depending on what he considers heavy.

Happy to see Clipper basketball again, even if its preseason. Hoping this game doesn't get too ugly.

He's out and won't be playing. He hurt something but I can't remember what. It's probably just precautionary.

He's missed all of training camp so far, so he's going to be playing catch up whenever he does get healthy enough to give it a go.
