The goal? To delay the inevitable for as long as we can.
Go Heat!
That day already came. They were right already.
Sure there are some haters but you guys are too sensitive and always looking for some malicious reason for anyone picking against us.
The main gist was that we are an old team. We are an old team.
A guy picking the field over the Heat isn't crazy. The Heat are 2-1 to win the title this year. If you really think picking the field over the Heat is a absurd notion go put your life savings on the Heat at 2-1. You would be getting value.
Sure the Heat are the obvious favorites but someone suggesting that they aren't better than even money against the field isn't a big deal at all. If you disagree you can take advantage of it.
Honestly, you are preaching to the wrong guy. I put perspective on things, and in this case I agree with you. For example, I believe Steve Kerr's thoughts on mental and emotional drainage are a legit point. I am also very aware that our roster is filled with over-30 veterans (although every champion since I can remember has had a veteran "old" roster similar to ours. I never understood this argument when we have yet to see a "twenty-somethings team win anything but that is a different discussion).
I could really care less what the predictions are from anyone and those were the intentions on my original post. Predictions, we all have them no? It all comes down to who can make the best argument for theirs.
Please don't bunch me with the sensitive crowd because I am far from it.
Ha my bad.
It just gets annoying reading all of these "someone predicted that we will lose 3 games this season, time to prove all the haters wrong". I remember a post just recently about how no one believes in Lebron... months after he won the MVP by getting all by one vote and then won another title on top of that.
On the prediction part, I really don't think he was trying to flower themselves in case the Heat lost. I mean he picked the field against the Heat, he didn't even pick a team. That's just logical and doesn't require an ulterior motive.
