As Wade gets older his role should increase and that means more inside than being stuck out on the perimeter.

Watching some highlights from the first Big three season. Bosh was really quick. He's lost a lot of athleticism I think.

Small clip, but you can see he jumps up with a lot of explosion from under the basket.

Sidenote: that was a packed pre-season game!

Well having bosh gain weight didn't really help at all because he was still getting bullied down low, it somewhat diminished his advantage against bigs.

Now he looks like a gazelle with the team collectively losing weight.

Damn this team might actually steamroll teams including the league's best like we thought they would when they all joined up.

Bosh had a different demeanor in the pre-season game than he did since he's joined, consistent aggressiveness. If he plays like that throughout the season/playoffs + a healthy Wade then this team is literally unbeatable.

The funny thing is, Oden is still a huge xfactor that hasn't even been counted.

Dude is probably the Most Under rated guy in the league. His blocks secured the Ship for the glorious Heat. The league is still shook by it .

no reason why Chris can't be a 19 and 10 guy at least.

When hasn't Bosh rolled out a line similar to this in pre-season.

I dont see him getting double digit rebounds as long as we use him on the perimeter as much as we do. Which is fine. I can easily see him getting 20 points per game with more touches and being more agressive. if not this year then later down the line.

For this upcoming season 19 points with higher then 52%, 8.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks would be very awesome for Chris.

if Bosh can average around 19/9 then i'll be a happy customer..i feel so bad for the guy because not only does he get left out in terms of playing a huge role in our past two championship runs but also Bosh is the one who has changed his roles the most on the team hands down..LeBron & Three already know their roles

Prople who rage on Bosh clearly don't understand much from watching basketball.
Probably the kind of fans that care more about dunks and who's the better dunker than about real basketball and playing for the team and playing to win. Kind of people who'd put Vince Carter in the HOF just because he could dunk so viciously.

I'd be more than happy with that statline along with him playing at least 75 regular season games this year and a full playoffs, injury free. I know it's a lot to ask and you can't forecast injury but everyone should be relatively fresh given how deep our roster is.

don't get me wrong I hope the best for Bosh, but HOw about let's wait 'til the regular season. It's one thing to come out of the gate aggressive & pumped up in preseason, while everyone else is getting their footing and adjusting to game speed (see: Lebron). Let's start raving when we see an active Bosh crashing the boards and attacking the rim against the Bulls...

preseason: where John Leuer looks like prime Pau Gasol (17 pts 10 rebs 5 assists 2 steals 1 block against the Mavs a couple days ago)

It's a bit unfair to judge him by how he plays against teams with big/huge front courts.
He's a (fairly slim) PF playing C. You can't really ask him to fight Noah+Boozer/Hibbert+West/Gasol+ZBo.

And I don't want to hear about him not bulking up.
Cause at the same time, he's asked to play elite P&R D, to be mobile enough to fit in Miami's team D, AND to be able to space up the floor. Up to the 3p line.

I feel you, but tbh it's less about him dominating in those situations and more about just not seeming completely overwhelmed on the boards in those situations. If the trend continues from the past 3 seasons, he will have gotten even worse at rebounding... we cant' really afford that. Especially not while mainly playing 6'8 power forwards (one of them being a twig with yearly plummeting rebounding #'s in Battier). It's officially on him too make sure those rebounding numbers don't dip further and to be engaged and active.

He said it himself... he can be more consistent and aggressive in that regard, I would just like to see it outside of preseason that's all. And truth b told IMO the improved offense would just be a big bonus because we were already historically great offensively last season, improvement in places we weren't necessarily all that great in seems more important to me.

The great thing about having three hall of fame guys for your core, that are all in their prime, is that they all have the competitive fire to come back each year and try and be better, no matter what the outcome of the previous year. The main thing I'm looking for from Bosh is to get the 3 point shot firmly within his comfort zone, because if he can be a true stretch 4 and hit the 3 at an elite level, it will really open up the floor. Also want to see him more agressive picking his spots to drive past his man toward the basket.
