The guy is a very well respected poster on that site that usually isn't wrong about thing, so let's hope he isn't about this. Apparently, this is straight out of the NBA 2014 Guide Book as they are planning to role out their new colors (like NOP last year) earlier than next summer. Phoenix's new colors were also in that book last year apparently.

NOTES: The teal is a little bluer than the old teal and the purple is similar but a little deeper. The light blue on the right IS SPECIFICALLY FOR PINSTRIPES (says so in the book)!!! So pinstripes are back and include that color and probably the purple on a teal uniform. The grey could also be for pinstripes too, but I'm just speculating there. The black and grey are probably logo colors that won't really be featured at all.

Anyway, this is really cool and gives me hope that MJ might just do this right (as in no more carolina blue stupidity).

For reference, their old colors.
Apparently, light blue is a return color as well as they look the same. The colors not seen are kelly green, bright purple, and cyan.

Update: NBA takes down the colors and says they were accidentally posted. That makes this even more true imo.

Well at least Charlotte will have sweet unis. I'm more concerned over the layout of the court.

Yes! My wish for them to add BLACK came true.

I love the addition of black and gray. They keep the old colors of purple and teal, but add BLACK to it for a more modern, edgy & aggressive look. Bringing the old look back with a modern touch.

I hope the road jerseys are dominantly black with the classic teal colors. Bright colors like teal and purple have amazing contrast with the color black.

Now I can only hope they make a trade for Anthony Bennett so we can relive the Larry Johnson era.

Honestly, changing the name back to the Hornets and getting back the color scheme is great and all... but they need to start putting a better product on the floor

Just need to bring back the GOAT court and they're set.

Have to admit... I kinda hate that court. It's so hard on the eyes. I like the gradient idea and the honey comb could work sparingly, but not all together WITH the basketball.

holy sh*t. I've never seen that court. I've seen the old court with the colored paint but not the paint like that.

THAT IS ILL! Yes please bring that back MJ.

I love the colored courts was more than that ugly 2-3 tone wood courts everyone does now a days.

That was "pre-restricted circle" era. It'd be awfully hard for a ref to see that little semi-circle under the hoop on that kind of floor.

the real question is will they use the retro logo? really hope they don't modernize it.
