Good game by the Rockets. McHale did a lot of tinkering with the Line ups. That's preseason.

D-Mo looked good.

Brewer not so good.

Rookies looked like rookies.

I thought Harden tried too hard with the 1 on 1 heroball.

Blowout win with Rockets in the lead the entire game.

They're about equal at TS%, but Garcia is able to score in a lot more ways
Brewer is better at steals, turnovers, and fouls
Garcia is better at blocks, but it's still .7 to .2
They're about equal in rebounds and passing, but Brewer looks to be a bit more skilled at it by % stats

I'm not going to be disappointed regardless of the one we play. I still think Brewer has an edge, but Garcia does help open up the interior.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I will need to see the entire preseason from Brewer play before judging.

I wonder who is the last man to be cut?

Just watched the replay heres my take on this game

Howard: Sets soft screen and doesn't roll hard to the basket. Im a little concerned. Asik set hard screen and rolled quickly to the basket every time last year for us. the Harden/Howard PnR might not be as effective as we think if Howard continues to be lazy with the PnR. Maybe its just preseason?

Harden/Parsons/Bev/Tjones: nothing to say. They all played well. First unit was outstanding.

Lin: i like the decision to play Lin off the bench. Making him the primary ball handler is playing to his strength. he looked very good and was assertive the moment he hit the floor. He could give us a real spark off the bench if Mchale makes Lin the 6th man.

Brewer: I like brewer. Can't shoot but fortunately he knows he cant shoot. Unselfish and good perimeter D. I think he makes the roster. He wont be in the rotation when Garcia comes back though.

Casspi: played every minute at the 4 spot. He's our stretch 4 for sure. This year's Delfino. He's not afraid to shoot and have a knack for getting himself open. How consistent is his shot remains to be seen.

Brooks: should never play unless we have injury at PG.

Dmo: Looked good. Played most of his minutes at backup 5. Gives us scoring but when the real game rolls around i dont trust Dmo as our Center.

All in all, this team is already coming together nicely and quickly.

I'd be slightly concerned too. Supposedly Nash said Howard wasn't that interested in playing pick and roll with the Lakers.

Brewer: I like brewer. Can't shoot but fortunately he knows he cant shoot.
