You should learn how to take your own advice...

Almost every post I see from you is mocking or critcizing someone else's in an unproductive way. I honestly don't think I've ever seen you contribute any original thought of your own to this forum, that didn't come in response to someone's post that you were criticizing.

Yack yack yack, whatever dude. I clearly don't spend nearly as much time on this forum as you do so you won't see many posts from me period. But if you go just a few posts up you can see me in discussion about KCP's shot form, and there's nothing critical or mocking about what I said. So:
/your theory

Anyway what type of response were you looking for from your Brandon Knight/Wolters post? Just curious. "Ahhhhhaaahhhhaaa, that Knight dude is a bum. He can't start in front of Wolters". That "Knight is not a starting PG" horse ain't getting up anymore.

It may be nerves, it may be a myriad of things, but all I know is that he better fix it, because with Stuckey out, he is going to be getting a ton of burn, and regardless of how good of a defender he is, he is a SG, not a PF, or C. and he has to keep the defense honest, or teams will just pack the paint on us, night in, and night out.

I think you mean well, but broken is a little too harsh. MKG's form is broken. The dude has a massive hitch in his shot and he sticks his elbow out.

Now, when KCP is actually squared up, legs shoulder length apart and refrains from flailing his legs, his form looks beautiful. This is the way he needs to shoot everytime:

That is not how it looked last night though. Those summer league games, his shot looked better(still a little slow for me)but it still needs some work. The NBA is a different beast, and it may tale some time to adjust for him.

Are you saying this particular shot needs work? Or do you feel like if he did this everytime he'd be fine? Because I can't say this particular gif needs work let alone is broken. I think you might be saying he needs to repeat his delivery more so than change the mechanics of it. I don't think he needs a bullpen session with Verlander or anything.

You know what? Im not sure what im saying anymore. I think its just one of those things. I don't like it, I hate it. Everytime I watched him shoot the ball, I cringed. It just pisses me off for some weird ass reason. almost as if he should be doing it better.

Theres my logic, in a nutshell. It loses on my eyeball test.

I think you mean well, but broken is definitely not what I would describe KCP's shot. His form is alright and his release is smooth, it's just he's bending his legs too much. He needs to relax his legs and just give a little flex with his legs instead of a whole squat. All the great shooters do it, from Allen, Curry, Irving, etc. That's why his form looks "slow" because he is hopping too much into it after he catches the ball. Also, landing has to be around six inches forward to where the initial jump started, which I think he's doing okay on.

Maybe his lack of confidence is really telling to me. The clip here, just reeks of confidence. No bones about it. Do I expect him to shoot like Curry? Hell no. I do expect him to actually hit anything though. Maybe when he starts hitting even the broadside of a barn it will start to look better to me.

Right now, I do like you explanation.
