Bennett heating up... on Andrew Nicholson. One of the worst defenders in the NBA.

I know he's a great offensive talent (I posted about it before he started heating up) but Nicholson is a HORRIBLE defender. Like worse than an average D-Leaguer bad.

Bennett!
Bad shots to take but he's obviously has a very nice jumpshot for someone that size.

True, but he looked like an unworthy slug before, and now, he has 16 points in a hurry.

He's clearly really out of shape and trying to get back from his injury.
But he's a talent.

Re: Rookie impressions thread: PRESEASON
Sixers played 5 rookies versus Boston.
MCW: with the 6-6-6 (pts/reb/ast) and a steal to go with 0 turnovers on 50% shotoing and a team high +/- Looking less raw with the ball than expected.
Royce White: 5 fouls in under 10 minutes, with 4 in under 3 minutes of first half action. Did have 5 points on 6 shots with 2 turnovers. Say what you will, but the guy can foul.
Vander Blue: 8 points 3-4 fga, 2 steal 2 turnovers, looks like he makes the team.
Mac Koshwal: 2 rebounds 2 fouls 6 minutes, doubt he makes team.
Khaliff Wyatt: 3 points in 4 minutes, borderline roster longshot.

Re: Rookie impressions thread: PRESEASON
karasev is a baller though. i like his combination of shooting touch and ability to run pnr. he's a lefty but not overwhelmingly lefty like a lot of em are. ball screen right or left, he looks comfortable going either way.
looking forward to watching more of him.

When you get that big, everything jiggles.
Wouldn't do to be running sprints and reinjury the shoulder with it jiggling around, now would it?

i can't tell if you're being facetious or not. actually, with the way you worded your question i have no clue how to respond to that at all.
having a should injury shouldn't prevent someone from running on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike. physically he looks like crap.

Re: Rookie impressions thread: PRESEASON
Bennett had a 14 point 4th Q. That was pretty nuts the shots he was hitting, had me out of my seat lol. I'm assuming this is what he did in college because the expression on his face never changed, like it was just routine for him.
But yeah the weight is puzzling. I hope weight wise he doesn't turn out to be another Sweetney.

Wow, it didn't appear that he was getting that much done. That's an impressive line even for preseason. I know I was thrilled to death to see him take 3's but his midrange was really something to behold.
