Not a huge fan of his, even though someone over at reddit is trying to convince me how good the three of him, MKG and Taylor was on the defensive end last year, like it actually matters and influences the big picture.

More minutes for all the other bigs who are in the rotation and who I want to see play more.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm fine with this. More minutes for Biz and Zeller hopefully.

A suggestion: As articulate as Brendan Haywood is, Bobcats should invite him to do color on radio while he's injured. He'd be great.

Why stop there? I think the Observer should invite him to be the Bobcats new beat reporter.

I wonder if we will give Daniel Orton a look now. He just got cut and could be a nice replacement for the things Haywood does on the court. Plus he has decent upside still.

Orton probably doesn't fit the "culture."

But we have Patrick O'Bryant...

I'd give Daniel Orton a run. Why not? But its not either those 2 or Haywood are going to make any kind of impact any time soon.

Looking at the box score Orton did alright against us for the sixers.

Would have been a low risk/high reward type of pick up.

Davis Williams ‏@DayvisWilliams 2m

Brendan Haywood says he has no timetable on his return to the Bobcats but says "he's getting better day by day".

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 16m

Brendan Haywood has been cleared for some on-court work, but sounds like he's weeks away from playing.

I think just having him on the practice court would be good and he's playoff insurance imo.
