Peterson's Son Beaten to Death

Post#1 » by Bank Shot » Fri Oct 11, 2013 5:55 pm

....by the mother's new boyfriend. He was 2.

http://sports.nationalpost.com/2013/10/11/two-year-old-son-of-minnesota-vikings-adrian-peterson-in-critical-condition-at-south-dakota-hospital-reports/

The two-year-old son of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is in critical condition at a South Dakota hospital, according to TMZ.

The Sioux Falls Argus Leader originally reported that a child was found Wednesday with injuries that appeared “consistent with abuse,” a police spokesman said.

Reports say emergency respondents found the boy unresponsive on Wednesday evening at the apartment where he lives with his mother.

This just makes me sick. Who could do something like this? I really hope the mother had no idea this man was capable of any kind of abuse because if she was, this is inexcusable.

Such a disgusting story. Kill him. AP should be allowed to stick his spikes in that piece of craps eyes before they give him the death penalty.

This is awful. Even though Purple Jesus and the mother of his boy were separated, this is just an all around terrible situation.

Condolences to Peterson and his family.

True

As someone that knows a bit about this kind of thing, there are a total of three people that need their feet held to the fire on this one. Obviously the guy that actually beat the kid to death can go straight to the gas chamber. However, the mom that continued to allow this monster that had a history of domestic violence against her and had actually assaulted another 3 year old child previously around her child is on the same tier as far anyone should be concerned. The POS rich athlete that could've had custody in a microsecond but just didn't care enough about his own son certainly isn't a whole lot better than those two.

The only innocents in this are the poor kid, maybe a couple of relatives that had to stand idly by as this whole predictable situation played itself out, and perhaps a couple child protection workers that were involved at some previous point that couldn't quite get enough grounds to remove the children without some feminist judge sending them right back due to mom being a "victim" and not deserving to have her children taken away.

Oh my God. I couldn't believe when I read about the kid being beaten and it's so much worse now that the kid has passed away. I can't begin to imagine what Peterson is going through.

Seriously, how can someone beat a 2 year old to death? How can he keep hitting the child until it no longer moves?

I mean, seriously now..

What?? You're an idiot. Having a ton of money doesn't mean you would get custody in a "micro-second"

Umm, yea it kinda does mean that, especially when the other party is not rich. Not to mention that this guy had a history of domestic violence against the mom, so there were almost certainly child protection cases on them that could have been obtained and brought up in court.

Unless a mother is proven to be bat **** crazy, she is overwhelmingly favored in custody cases.

Also, she's not poor, since Peterson would be paying child support.

Dwyane Wade had a lengthy custody battle with his ex-wife, who actually was bat **** crazy and the courts STILL had a hard time giving Wade custody.

And it's also really stupid to put Peterson in the same category as the guy that actually killed the kid and the mother that allowed the killer to take care of her kid. It's not even close.

I think he was choked to death. Either way, whoever did it has got to be out of his mind. MAYBE a normal person who is upset could hurt a child, but to continue to harm them repeatedly to the point of death is inconceivable. You would think at some point, they'd realize "this is really unnecessary"
