There have been no indications of that.

we don't hit when Hanley is out of the lineup.
it all unravels when he doesn't play. I've said this since he's been back. Him coming back to the lineup sparked this team...not Puig.

besides...we outhit them...we just sucked with RISP

We'll be fine.
they withstood Greinke and Kershaw.
we just need to withstand Wainwright...and get Hanley in the lineup.

what?

in another realm, our pitching performance against them in their own ball park was outstanding.

Although the games have been extremely close, the Cardinals beat both Greinke and Kershaw. With Wainwright coming up for game 3 and Hanley hurting, I could definitely see this being a sweep.

we'll get Hanley back.
they survived and won games Greinke and Kershaw started. they didn't beat those 2.

i fully believe we can survive Wainwright in the same fashion.
we're not done in this series.

This was my favorite part of last night. Nothing brings quite as much warmth to my heart as sad Sawx fans (sorry CC and SSK).

Seriously though, I need some Elias stat to tell me when the last time there were two 1-0 shutouts on the same day during the playoffs. Absolute gems by each staff yesterday. I know most people love big offense, but I'll be damned if I didn't say that I love pitcher's duels more.

It'll be interesting to see how Mattingly decides to use his rotation now that they're down 0-2. How short of rest are you willing to give Kershaw, especially if they lose Game 3.

And, if Detroit can snag both games in Boston, I would find it hard to see the Sawx climb outta that hole. Then again, that's what people were saying in 2004, too.

I wouldn't count anybody out yet....and boy, that was great pitching we saw yesterday.

I am hoping the Dodgers can get back into this, and I'd expect that Detroit/Boston is going to go back and forth.

If I hear Joe Buck or Tim McCarver call another one of the Sox a "gamer," I'm going to mute this game.

Hop off the jock, fellas.

Buchholz has just gone flat this inning. He's hanging everything.

That was nuts. They've done that so much this year but I still never expected that.
