Lawrence Frank out indefinitely

Frank left the team before Tuesday's preseason opener against the Washington Wizards and hasn't been back since. “He’s taking care of his personal situation," coach Jason Kidd said on a conference call with reporters Thursday.

An official with the team said there's no timetable for Frank's return at this time. Frank left Detroit last season for six games in March last season to attend to his ill wife, but it's unclear if that's what's keeping him away from the Nets this time around.

When he didn't go to the first preseason game, I kinda figured it was due to his wife's illness.

If it is indeed that, I hope she gets better. There are some things that are more important than basketball.
