I'd say a high percentage of "Natural Americans" don't speak or understand their OWN language, let alone a foreign one.

I'm a college English professor, and I feel like I deserve a medal for never once critiquing another poster's grammar. With that in mind, I'll decline to point out the small grammatical errors in the posts discussing Ced's use of worse/worst.

Ced is not American and I don't believe he even lives in the US, So english isn't Cedric's natural language and I'm pretty sure he's better speaking and writing in our language then you or I are at his.

Those mistakes don't infuriate me as much as the internet shorthand words like "wat" or "wut".... shortening a 4 letter word to 3 somehow just makes me want to punch babies.

The most annoying to me is the use of dominant/dominate. I always read things like "Shaq is the most dominate player ever". Richboy used it every other post even when he was corrected and it annoyed the hell out of me.

I'd like to point out and remind you guys that I was not bashing Ced at all or pointing my post at him personally, I rarely put on my Grammar Police helmet on. I have no right to. I kind of did on the GB yesterday though, for the exact same word. "Worst". I've just seen it so many times being mixed up. It's just kind of weird how many people use "worst" instead of "worse", "could of" like some other poster mentioned and then there's the "their/they're/there" thing.

And no, English is not my spoken language and I rarely speak in English. I've been to America twice and often been to England, but I always feel like a doofus when speaking in English because of my Icelandic accent making me sound like The Governator, sort of.

So yeah, my post was more of an observation post rather than Grammar Police.

Just to make things clear on my behalf as it is not in my programming to insult people on purpose. If I did then I apologize.
