Puig flipped his bat and watched the ball fly thinking it was a homer and then he legged out a triple.

That was infuriating and impressive all at once.

Infuriating in the sense that it wasn't a long bomb that was a sure thing. He should've run it out from the second it left the bat.

this is Dodger stadium at night.

lots of balls off the bat look like they're leaving and then don't (wont act like thats what was going thru my mind at the time).

Puig's antics just make me laugh for some reason...dunno. was funny when he flipped the bat and it didn't leave. Maybe I was relieved he finally got a hit.

he wont piss me off until he drops one of those balls in the outfield with his stylish catches.

and with that missed catch on Ellis's triple.
Jon Jay, despite having the GW rbi in game 2 is having a terrible series....nearly Puig level pre-triple.

I'm not much of a fan of the exceptions, not that everyone doesn't get away with em, I just wish they weren't so prevalent.

Puig is a scumbag and it will give me great pleasure when he and his team of blue friends are no longer in the postseason

: a dishonest, unkind, or unpleasant person

I'm not saying he's a scumbag for the bat flip. He's just a scumbag in general, and him being on a team full of them just tops it off.

Awesome efforts by both.

Verlander must be wondering what on earth he needs to do to get the stars aligned in order to get a couple of runs when he pitches.
