Bennett took over in the 4th but on the whole all of the Cavs younger players out played the Magic's in the 4th.

That shooting stroke is perfect. It's odd to see a guy with the body of a bruiser have such a pretty jumper. Bennett is, if nothing else, a very unique player. Pretty fun to watch.

Yeah, Bennett has a chance to be a great - perhaps elite - offensive player.

Still think he's on the wrong roster to start out. Irving - superstar, but a ball hog.

Waiters - wanna be NBA scoring leader and a total shot hog.

Jarrett Jack - another big time offensive scorer off the bench.

Bennett - guy that needs the ball in his hands. Can he handle being the third (or worse) option on the floor? Cause you know that Cleveland will always have 2 out of those 3 guards on the floor, eating up possessions.

when a team has the number 1 pick you take the guy you think can ultimately become the best player in the draft class. You don't take the guy that happens to have a decent off-ball game.

He does? Most of his shots were taken quickly. I didn't see him dribbling around or holding it for more than 5 seconds tops? He got the ball and got rid of it. Waiters, gets the ball and attacks the rim immediately. Irving is the point gaurd. He is going to have the ball in his hands. Jarrett Jack is our back up PG...he'll have the ball in his hands.

All those guys take shots, they don't sit and hold the ball. There are enough shots to go around. Gee, AV and TT have been taking a lot of the shots these past few years, which is not a good thing. We actually have scorers now. Our roleplayers are not longer forced to do things they can't do well.

Closer to Batum than LeBron or Durant. All 3 are top notch passers at the SF position, but there is a huge difference between the first one and the other two. Giannis would have to put on a ton of muscle to match LeBron physically - I don't think his body will let him do that (though after a few years work he could come back looking like Durant does this year).

I gotta say WTF man, I think Giannis is a great prospect esp considering where he got drafted and how little experience he has but to compare him to Lebron is crazy. He will never fill out like lebron, one of the things that makes Lebron so special is what he is able to do at that size. Most guys that get big like him lose all their speed. Lebron is faster than most guards and he is about the same size as Prime Karl Malone.

Sixers played 6 rookies versus the Nets.

MCW: 12 ppts, 4 ast, 2 stl, 2 reb, 1blk, 3 to. Dropped him off his 16-1 a:to ratio, but he shot well from deep again (3-7). Looking like he will quietly fill in stat sheets.
Royce White: 19 minutes and only 4 fouls. 6 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists (1 was very nice) and a block. 3 turnovers including falling down while trying to drive.
Vander Blue: 11 minutes, 4 points 3-4 fga, 1 reb 1 ast, still think it looks like he makes the team, but rumor is it is him or Wyatt.
Khaliff Wyatt: 23 minutes, 6 points, 3 ast and a steal. But also 3 to and 5 fouls.
Mac Koshwal: 5 points and 4 rebounds in just 4 minutes. Still a longshot, but thats nice production.
Hollis Thompson: 5 points in 7 minutes. I'm not sold on him but sf is weak.

If Gani Lawal hadn't played 2 minutes a few years ago, it would have been 7 guys with zero minutes in the league playing.

If Oladipo is the clear cut ROY this draft is trash. Hoepfully others deliver.

Giannis Looks like a effin' stud. Hard to believe this kid is only 18, have never seen an 18 year old do some of the things that he has pulled off on the court

Bennett started out hot from 3, but ended up having a rough game. He arguably gets a pass since the Cavs had a full practice prior to the game, according to the interwebz.

What killed Bennett was all the fouls that were called on him.

What killed him is that he looks to be in horrible shape. Not that he doesn't have an excuse to be, with his injury and asthma. He was basically just walking up and down the floor, hands on his waist or bent down holdin his shorts for long stretches of that game lookin like he was about to pass out.

He looked really good for a minute or 2 after checking into the games but he was done after that

Bennett looks Eddy Curry fat, but I don't think it will be a huge issue for him. I bet he will slim down more, I do worry about him in the future though. Cav fans, or any other Bennett expert. Whats his work ethic like? I remember hearing he wasn't in the greatest shape in college either.

1 year from now will be the time to evaluate how serious Bennett is about being a great player. Will he come back to training camp 20-30 pounds lighter?

If he doesn't - that's a very bad sign. If he does, then we'll see.

He's super talented on offense, but he'll be virtually worthless to the Cavs this season if he's huffing and puffing all the time.

Potential through the roof for that Giannis kid. I think everyone knew he could do that though, it was more of a fear of him becoming Earl Clark that turned people off. Hopefully the Bucks don't trade him for an expiring.
