no, i like hayward a lot this year and theres no way mayo hits as many threes.

im just trying to figure out how anthony davis dropped to the 5th round in your league. also looks like you really, really reached for mcgee. youre really hurting your ft% with smith, mcgee and thad.

well youre going to lose turnovers every week no matter what so theres no harm in going for Burke. Also i would i would consider punting ft% if i were you with Howard, Turner and Faried.

good FG%, TO's, good-okay in rebounds, blocks decent/ehh, don't really have bad FT shooters (as long as horford goes back to his career avg of 70%) but likely wont win every week as well. Pretty weak in stls, and 3's could be improved.

well yeah assists/steals are a a connected stat since point guards are usually the biggest source of steals.

Been doing a lot of mock drafts (8th spot) and really like the team I ended up with here. I'd like to hear any concerns about any of the guys in the lineup below, especially thoughts on D. Rose (effectively picking him 13th)

you have no assists and very little threes which is going to be a problem since youre already punting free throws. scoring is not too strong either since all your bench/util players are low scoring and i dont think rose will come back and average 20+ right away. you have one quality guard since a big part of calderons value is wasted on your time with his insanely high ft%. i dont think Kawhi makes sense on a punt ft team. barnes is useless as well, you need 3pt specialists on your bench.

overall youre a beast in big man stats but i think youre too weak in other categories for this team to do much in the playoffs. you could greatly improve this team with trades tho, you have a lot of valuable players. also bogut will get hurt so theres that too.

Awesome thanks man, I haven't played fantasy basketball in quite a long time, so I need to refine how I think about drafting a team, as my strategy right now is get the person I think is going to do well in that team and am not really thinking about what category they fill.

Anyway I'll keep reading and hopefully get my strategy locked down.

I was thinking about trading Horford and Crawford for Curry and picking up Spencer Hawes on waivers. Thoughts? I'm not sure how much it'd improve my team in the 10 mean league

no way youre going to get curry for horford and crawford lol. youd need to include way more value. i would punt blocks if i were you with bigs like horford and love. i dont really see the point of barnes either when you have iggy, theyll only take minutes away from each other.

also i have to imagine that the waiver wire is really good in a 10 man league.
