What do you guys think about having a water moat around the ring for Royal Rumble or another battle royal? I've been throwing this idea out to friends for at least 20 years now and want to get some input from others. Why hasn't this happened? Would it be too difficult to set up? Is there a risk of somebody drowning? Wouldn't it be awesome to see guys get completely launched off a a good rope-run into a back body drop? They could completely throw caution to the wind in terms of height and airtime. Anyway, just wanted to see what you guys think about it and whether it's something that could be constructed in an arena...

lol no.

i get why wrestlers wet their hair, but dean ambrose and the shield go overboard. they walk out totally drenched.

(maybe it's a tactic to dissuade people from touching them as they always walk through the crowd)

LOL I'm honestly laughing so hard at this idea and everyones comments. sorry totally not trying to be a jerk, but this is WWE not sea world. the crowd doesn't need to get splashed when big show falls into a body of water.

it would be awesome to get splashed! guys are willing to fall 20 feet onto thumbtacks and nestle their heads snuggly under a huge man's sweaty taint. why not fall into a moat?

if you're not sold on the moat idea yet, think about the diva match...

Speaking of AJ, she suffered a concussion after a match with Brie Bella on Monday Night Raw right after Battleground. Dunno how long she'll be out but it sucks considering she's the one carrying the Divas division back to watchable status

Oh yeah mandatory AJ gif:

No idea what they are doing with the IC belt and the US belt. I don't feel there's a direction at all

It's bad enough that Axel holds the IC belt, it's even worse that the WWE is "pushing" R-Truth to be a contender with no build-up whatsoever

Ambrose deserves the US belt but who do they have as a clear-cut contender for him? Ziggler? I seriously did not feel any of Ziggler's presence if he was ever being pushed by the WWE as a possibly US champ currently

The rest of the titles look good though

WWE champ - being used for the Corporate storyline

WHC - stale with Del Rio but with Cena coming back and being booked to fight for it, maybe he can bring some prestige back

Divas champ - AJ's good but IMO this belt is in the same situation as the US belt. The difference is that AJ has been active in promos and her presence is well felt. Ambrose, as good as he is on the mic, hasn't really cut any promos lately or have been in any matches

Tag team champs - Cody and Goldust have been over with the crowds and I like how the WWE built them up. Started as getting owned by the Shield then working their way to victory. I like the Shield but I also like that the Tag Team belts have any real contenders other than the Shield

BTW RAW was good. One of the best endings I've seen in a while

Gotta say, Triple H and Stephanie going heel is what the story line needed. Makes it more interesting again.

The moat idea around the ring is kinda cool. They should put a glass barrier separating the crowd from the water, and then have the Big Show just swimming around like a big ugly whale that you can watch through the glass

Actually, she's a pretty impressive person, aside from her hot looks.

AJ seems like she'd be my dream girlfriend. She's cute, petite with a nice ass, likes videogames (I heard that some where), and could probably protect me from getting beat up

She's a real wrestling fan as well. There's some video on youtube of her meeting Lita when she was just a kid and crying. I like her matches, but there is really no other girl on the roster who is on her level

so all 3 members of the shield lost their gold?

I don't follow it anymore but I liked hearing that the shield was cleaning out the competition and orton was champ (I hear its vacated now?)

also what is the best wwe game in recent years? I want one that allows me to play a really good story mode. I've heard some allow you to create stories. I'm huge on factions and building groups so I would love a storyline that has a lot of these or a game that allows me to create these.
