Good luck to DJO. I'd prefer Harris over Kelly, though.

(Not a fan of having Gasol, Kaman, and Kelly together...they're all so slow and unathletic. Williams should be enough of a stretch 4 to offer a different look from Hill anyway. Would prefer Harris' defensive potential.)

Only thing surprising is the timing. Isn't DJO with the rest of the team in China right now?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing as well, like does he come back on the plane with the team or get his own ride back? The best thing for DJO to do is find a team in China while he is already in the country.

Does Landry put on Sasha like practice sessions? I mean he shouldn't have survived cuts either

I think Landry is gone, hope he sticks around on the D-Fenders though, but he should go wherever he'll get paid the most.

He has the potential to be better than Patrick Beverley. I hope he gets the chance somewhere.

Kelly won't be cut. He fits D'Antoni's system about as well as he can hope for next to his competition.

I was hoping he'd stick around and make it to the end of preseason. It would make an easy transition for him if we're somehow short a player via a trade or injury later in the year, but I guess we don't plan on revisiting him later on.

The front court desperately needs an injection of youth and athleticism.

Isn't Landry the only one that can be cut now? Harris has a guaranteed 2 year deal doesn't he?

It's guaranteed......not sure if it's only a very small part or the full rookie minimum but it's guaranteed
Not the usual training camp deal like the other guys got

McMenamin(I think) tweteed about it awhile ago and even Lakers.com mentioned it as a guaranteed deal when the deal took place

Not important since both were going to leave in the first place

With Henry having a solid preseason I think we may carry 15 players into the season

DJO was waived so a Chinese team could sign him.
