Loved the rebounding (esp. offensive) and defensive effort from Plumlee last night. He has serious hops, but needs to be better coordinated.

Serviceable doesn't win you ROY (unless this class is just awful).

Tell that to Emeka Okafor.

Is that supposed to mean something? I hope he gets run instead of Perkins when the year starts, IDK why the hell Brooks loves Perkins, but man that guy really needs to play a max of 10 minutes a game.

yes, it actually does. adams was seen as a project and because of his lack of experience in the game was supposed to be someone who was far away from being a contributor. he can contribute as early as this yr.
as raw as he is, he actually does a lot of things fundamentally well. he plays physically, understands his limitations and keeps it simple. being better than perkins may not seem like much of a feat, but actually it is given adams' stage of development. quite simply, he's better than many expected.

anthony bennett has asthma and sleep apnea.

forget about whether you think he was worth the #1 because of his ability, should this have impacted his stock?

It was known he had asthma at UNLV. Teams were aware of it.

Both of these are very treatable and shouldn't affect his career much.

I missed the Cavs game, but saw the highlights. I can't get over how BIG Bennett is. The dude is so thick. Hopefully he uses that mass to push around defenders in the paint instead of being more perimeter oriented.

Adams looks like he is probably the best Center on the roster.

Unfortunately, he'll play more minutes in the D-league this year than for the Thunder.

Unfortunately for the Thunder, that simply means he is better than Perkins... along with just about every other center in the league.

I like this guy, also had a sick in between the legs pass, but I cannot find it. If he keeps this up, I think Waiters could become a trade piece along with Bennett.

you dont think he can eventually defend 3's?
good player. i had him as high as 12 on my big board. very mature game. skilled, unflappable, high iq. i like his ability to make plays with the ball when chased off the line and in pnr.

^^^I think he is a little skinny right now to defend most 3s, but I put him at SG instead of Dion because I feel his game compliments Kyrie's much better. He is a catch and shoot type that can play PnR and distribute the ball. He can be effective without being ball dominant.

Some great clips in this video, his passing looks surprisingly good, same goes for his basketball IQ. Hope he can have the opportunity to make an impact on OKC, rather than Brooks just giving Perkins all the minutes at Centre. I'm from Oceania myself so am particularly keen to see this NZ guy succeed!

Noticing your name, wouldn't it have been nice to see this guy developing behind Lopez? I know a lot of Blazer fans were high on this guy, myself included, and with CJ's injury it makes one wonder if going for the high upside big man might have actually been the safer choice!

Am I crazy for not wanting to trade Waiters and Bennett for Love or Aldridge?

You might be. Love and Aldridge are proven players. Waiters and Bennett are raw talents that could or could not pan out to anything close to either of them.

Obviously early on in his career and he could go any which way but i like what i see from him. He is a big dude.

You mean if he becomes an all-star? Just give me a serviceable center who can finish.

Not necessarily an all star, but just an active double double guy who gets his points through hustle, brings energy and can anchor a defense.

If that converts into an all star gig then fine, but he looks like a hybrid of Chandler & Noah.

Not seeing much downside for Adams at the moment. At worst he looks like he will be one of those energy guys off the bench with genuine size.

Really liking the Tyson Chandler comparison more and more now.
