I know it's really difficult since they are almost a decade apart but does anyone here have an idea of what Goodwins ceiling will be in the future compared to our current Dragic who is probably just starting to hit his ceiling? I havent had a chance to see Goodwin play but im hearing good things. That being said I think Dragic is an underrated PG that is pretty solid all around even though he isnt considered a great shooter. Dragic did have the benefit of being tutored under Nash for a good stretch also which cant hurt.

I cannot see Utah Jazz nor Orlando Magic being better than us right now.

Our ranking on Zach Lowe's and Bill Simmons' watchability list isn't too good... http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/984 ... s-rankings

Zach Lowe is okay but, man, Bill Simmons is still an irritating, ignorant ****.

I know its only pre-season, but Oladipo is looking good. Really good.

Boy, I might be needing to hunt some crow for dinner tonight.

I think suns would of drafted Oladipo if he was available at 5.
With Len as second choice.

Maybe if Oladipo fell at 5, Suns would of done everything to move up and grab Len??
Maybe...

Anyways About the suns being unwatchable...
Well if it's just Frye and the Morris twins jacking up shots, Bledsoe missing mid ranges all game then I would agree with that... But when Goodwin and Len is on, I'm glued to screen like white on rice... Just watching how they develop and play.

One of the potential sleeper picks for us, if we miss out on Wiggins, Parker and Randle, can easily be Wayne Selden, imo.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Wayne-Selden-6473/

Goodwin and him could potentially be a nasty combo starting at 2 and 3.

I am Selden watcher at the moment same approach I did with Goodwin last year...

I think Selden and Goodwin clash a bit.

Goodwin I would like to develop to be Harden/Ginobili like... Ball handling, penetration, mid, play making etc
Selden does the same...

If Selden gets drafted the Suns have to move Goodwin at PG, Selden at SG... And have One of Dragic / Bledsoe come off the bench as sixth man... Which means one needs to be traded.

Hezonja is another who might climb the rankings and be an effective SG/SF player next to Bledsoe\Dragic\Goodwin...

Ideally Randle becomes a face up mid PF who can be Barkley/Webber like next to Len though... Lol big expectations obviously.

I`d play Selden as a 3, he is strong enough to guard other small forwards, imo. He is a nice spot up shooter by the look of it so I believe he would work just fine with Archie.

Hezonja and Robinson are 2 other wings I would target, too. I`d be more than happy if we take one of Randle/Parker to play pf and move up to late lottery with Minny and Indy picks (+ some other asset if needed) to pick one of Selden/Hezonja/Robinson to play sf.

Atta boy BH...

I'm rooting for two teams this yr... Us and Minnesota. We need that second decent pick. Could land us someone like Ike Austin if we miss out on the coveted Randle.

Austin is an interesting prospect. Might too bean-poley to match up with Len... but damn, we'd be long up front. He has a decent perimeter game too.

I'll have to watch Parker more. Isn't his bio leaning towards tweener-ville?

I watched today and few times in the preseason Bucks playing bc of polish player on their camp roster(probably won't make the team - SF/F Czyz), but my point is..

There is NO way in my opinion Suns will be that bad as few teams in the East, so there is just a little chance of getting someone out of the big talented 3 Wiggins Parker Randle. Even I am excited as hell about draft 2014 Suns probably will end up with another nr. 5 pick.

Tankers only see a top three pick in their gunsights. They've had their crosshairs on the hero-trio since the hype machine put them on the battlefield. Lotto pick yes... top lotto pick ? all up to chance. Its unlikely we will be on the cusp of the play offers, yet, in the end, a few toddling fans will be crying to lose games just to improve our lotto odds.

The East is a lot weaker though, so even for the crappy teams they have easier competition thus being able to win more games.

Even the team with the worst record in the league may miss out on the top 3. Also, someone may want Marcus Smart (like Orlando, who had them atop their draft board this year). Then there is Aaron Gordon and others. Oladipo wasn't even projected to go in the first round last year at this time, and now it looks like he could be the best player out of the draft class, so there may be some more studs we haven't even considered yet.

Exum is supposed to be a stud too. And Hezonja.
