Oh man, that would be so stupid, I think refs would have to show some discretion there, but then people would whine like crazy. That is what I don't like about the rule because it is two then a technical, right?

Yeah, first is a warning and the second is a tech.

Teams should have done it in practice

Could you imagine a scenario similar to Ray Allen hitting that three to tie the game and a Heat player touches the ball after it goes through the cylinder? San Antonio goes to the line to shoot a technical. That would be heartbreaking. I don't think I'm going to like this new rule.

Ya that would not be good for basketball if something that huge happens. I think players will get used to it tho

Should've called it on Collison when DJ smashed it into his face

Jordan has been fine on defense, really hasn't been bad, just missed a lot of FT's.

Mullens, well...shots aren't falling and he's a trigger happy guy, but it would be more okay if shots fell for him.

Free throws are a huge importance got to improve. Starting to hate Mullens its one thing to shoot in the flow but he is startingto bblack hole it by shooting soon as he touches it this game

Lol, this silly rule.

DJ's form staying the same means his shot isn't improving

Big bonus once the trio of Collision/Crawford/Barnes gel our bench will be dangerous . Add in if we go small and throw Green or Bullock in too. Davies had a huge impact think he gets the nod to be kept so far. At this point he could eventually be first big off the bench if he continues to improve and play in thepost.

Collision was impressive. Could tell he got a little tired the last couple mins tho

DJ looks great except for at the FT line. I wish he would make SOME improvement there. I mean even shoot 50-60% would be better than last yr

60% would be great for him. If he could just make more than he misses, it's improvement.

anyone else worried that we are too much of a jump shooting team? we have a lot of quality shooters, but on nights were they are off, our offence falls apart, like tonight. portland played terrible, they committed heaps of turnovers and yet dominated us. Our best post player is blake and yet he sometimes settles for jump shots instead of driving to the rim. Even though our guys were getting good looks, if they are shooting that poorly we need to find other ways to score. Collison was great at penetrating but the rest of the team seemed to settle for jump shots.

Think the jump shooting will become an issue at times Doc needs to pound it into the heads of guys like Mullens and Jamison to find better ways to get higher percentage shots.

I totally forgot about the game last night. My wife was watching netflix and I was too lazy to check on any sports. Nice to see that Collison did well.

I have noticed in some of the games that we take a lot of jumpers. I'm hoping that once the season starts we don't really do that. I think scoring will be easier once we get some of our injured players back.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

At this point I am more excited to get Barnes back than JJ simply because we need someone who can cut instead of catch-shoot-miss.
