I like this kind of game from Nene better.

8 FTAs. 8 Rebs in 23 minutes.

Team still seems to be figuring out who is going to do what but they are getting there.

Beal the prime scorer... All star
Wall playing more the facilitator. High assists high FTA
Nene more FTA and more rebounds

Need a slasher to go with that group. Might actually work well with Glen Rice at the SF

Wall/Temple/Maynor
Beal/Trevor A
Glen Rice/Webster
Booker/AH/Ves
Nene/Ves/Kevin

They do have lots of ways they can mix and match this roster.

I would rather Temple back up PG then Maynor at this point.

If Ariza is going to be starting, he needs to hit those open shots. Otherwise give Webster his freakin job back!!

Defender. That's what he is and occasionally can make a shot. He's isn't changing. I don't get not starting Webster just to have more scoring from your second unit. We're already getting nothing offensively from our 4 spot. TEams are now going to focus on stopping Beal. You have to have another shooter like Webster to take pressure off of him. I would almost double Beal and force Ariza to make shots from anywhere outside of 10 feet.

Thats where our max contract wall comes in...he suppose to take pressure off beal...u shouldnt be able to double beal with wall on the floor..

Ves blocks Davis...

That should be good for his ego.

Man, Webster went cold. Missed his last 4 or 5 shots. now
And now Beal is missing

8 pts in the quarter

Did I miss something with GR Jr? Why hasn't he played?

Nobody is going to double Beal, he isn't Kobe or Harden. Most of his points come off of screens and ball movement.

The key to stopping the Wizards is stopping their transition game and slowing ball movement.. both of which are initiated by Wall.

I'm exaggerating but if he keeps playing like this and you're defending Ariza, you slump off of him. Why even guard Ariza from the perimeter? In the transition game, nobody is going to double anybody. If Wall can drive and then dish to Beal, that's great, But if Ariza is open and he can't make those shots, that takes away one option.

Also if you watched any of the preseason games, he's becoming more than just a standstill shooter. He's able to put the ball on the floor now and drive. Not near Kobe, Wade or Harden, but he's getting better and better.

And as I kill Ariza and jock Webster, Martell is 3 for 12 tonight. So we were 4 of 18 from our small forward spot.

Other than Nene, we're get nothing, zilch, zero, nada from our young post players. Seraphin should give us more than 3 points from the foul line. Booker is playing the Dennis Rodman/Reggie Evans role of don't shoot unless it's a dunk which is fine. I know Al is a power forward but he's not really a post or young.
