VladRad retires. I knew I should have worn my Vlad jersey today (going to the Kings/Warriors game tonight).

So I was in the camp that wanted Dwight here. And I still think he's a hell of a basketball player. But MAN is he immature. Really? He's upset the Magic reissued his #12? "After I played there for a few years, and then jerked them around and led the team into a tragic spiral, I just sort of assumed we had something special and they'd retire my number."

Thought this quote from Malone regarding his father a little odd:

“I’m thankful that I had my father on our staff during the summer and throughout training camp as I transitioned into a head coaching role,” Michael Malone said. “He was my father long before we became colleagues, and while I’ll miss his presence on the bench, he will always be an invaluable source of counsel on all matters basketball and otherwise.”

Marshall, Brown and Lee (very briefly a Warrior on draft day) all waived by Washington. From #13 to waived in one season for Marshall.

Also - is the season long prediction game happening again?

I liked Marshall a lot, but unless you have an outside shot or the quickness to beat your man off the dribble, you aren't going to make it in the NBA

Lol I picked him up in Fantasy. I can't believe I have his jersey. At the time, I was debating between Morrow or Randolph jersey lol.

The dream will never die! Don't tell jive turk3y.

Anybody watching opening night? Some stray observations...

-Hibbert got injured without being touched...I drafted him in fantasy and am not looking forward to his fragility. 7 blocks though and he looked downright dominant on defense.

-For anyone wondering, yes, Mike Dunleavy still sucks.

-Bulls look like they're going to take quite a while to gel. Not sure why people voted them the #2 title contender.

-Miami apparently has Beasley and Oden as their last men on the bench...rich get richer.

-Jimmy Butler has the ugliest haircut in the NBA. Lord.
